On their first day of training,Sakura wanted to make sure that she got her point across that Sasuke was hers. She bought a promise ring for herself and Sasuke and gave it to him that day.
Sasuke refused the ring when she gave it to him,saying he didn't need it. But after she left,he put it on in a place where she couldn't see it.
When he left the village,he returned the ring to her,saying that she would also be his one and only. He regretted that he couldn't have done more for her happiness but knew he had to leave. Sakura stared at the ring and smiled as the tears fell down her face;he did care.
