After returning from what can only be called one of the best dates ever, both our fools couldn't stop smiling. It felt as if all the burdens of the past were lifted off them just for sometime. They felt liberated and for the first time in a very very long time, happy and content. A feeling of complete and utter satisfaction had ebbed itself into their souls but as they say, nothing last forever and this was just the calm before the storm.
Things had settled into a pattern, from midnight texts to calls to video calls every morning before they left for work, things were peaceful. Reyansh and Ishika didn't reveal anything to the family as of now but continued teasing Navya for her escapade. However, Ayaan was caught red-handed by his entire family and was embarrassed when they found kiss marks on his neck. His cousins teased the hell out of him but they couldn't be happier for their dearest brother who had finally moved on from a dark phase of his life.
But with pasts as turbulent as theirs, things just don't disappear. They're like a virus, waiting for the right moment when you are at your lowest and at that time, they jump at the opportunity.
