Chapter 5 - My New Friend

I woke up feeling some think cold on my forehead. And slowly opened my eyes. I am feeling very weak. My arms and legs feel numb. My body is aching. What's happening to me.

Mam: Med are you okay?

I looked at my right side to see mom, dad and dek sitting on my bed.
My mother looked at me as if I was taking my last breath. My father picked me up in his arms as if I would break if he applies some force and my brother sighed in relief.

Wait....... WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING.
WHAT THE HECK DID THAT FUCKING GOD GAVE ME TO MAKE ME SICK.

My dad checked my temperature and sighed in relief.

Dad: It's a relief that now you are okay. You know when we were about to leave you suddenly fainted and your body temperature went cold.

Dekis : Your body was as cold as a dead body.
Mom: DEKIS SOLON

Mom hitted dek on his arm.

Medea: For how much time was I asleep dad.
Dad: 6 hours.
Medea: What the fuck.
Mom: Medea language.
Medea: What are you both doing here what about your work in the Imperial palace.

Dad sighed and patted my head.

Dad: No work is important that my daughter's health.

Medea: But I am fine.

Mom: We called so many healers to heal you but their magic didn't work on you.

Dekis: And Let me repeat again you were as cold as a dea- I mean as ice.

Dekis gulped as mom glared at him.

I closed my eyes again thinking of that jerk god. That idiot did he wanted me to die or what. I thought that it was just a sickening potion but he actually gave me poison.

I sensed that those three were still sitting near my bed. I opened my eyes and was Hella surprised.

Them: HAPPY BIRTHDAY MED.

In a blink of eye the room was decorated. It had blue butterfly designs and red dragon painting on the wall.

It's my first time i am celebrating my birthday with my family. We'll my friends did celebrate my birthday. But with a family, it's a total different experience.

I didn't notice but my tears started to flow down my cheeks. Tears of happiness.

Dad: Omo are these decoration not to your liking.

Medea: It-It's just tha-that I am happy.

Dekis came to me and hugged me tightly. He pulled my head on his chest. Slowly patting my head.

Mom and dad looked at us and went outside the room leaving us have some brother-sister time alone.

Dek: You are such a crybaby.

Medea: I am not.

Dek: You are.

Medea: No I am not.

Dekis: You are not.

Medea: I know.

We both burst into laughing.

Dek: Well we will soon leave for the Imperial palace for your debutine ball so get ready. Your dress in on the bed I will call sofhi.

He said and went outside. And soon sofue came in and greeted me happy birthday and showed me the dress.
