The Name I want to Forget

-written 3 years after I wrote " Your Name", a poem dedicated to the man who I used to love.

I ask my self, " Why did I love you?"

It was you who made me comfortable
When I am in a world different from my own
It was you who made me feel I'm home
When my thoughts were lost and unreasonable

It was you who take me out from my own painful darkness
And made me aware of the stars that shines on me the brightest
It was you who brought the beautiful sound of a racing heartbeat
And made mine dance to that pounding melody every single beat

It was you! Your name that lead me out of that unimaginable forest
Your name I kept calling when it suddenly fades and became estranged
Your name that I wished I never heard and made my heart burst
Your name that leads me out but brought me into a new world where we become strangers.

My reply, " I forgot, how I wish I never knew"
