Mom
The rest of the day went by in a blur, and I managed to stay out of trouble. But, after school I was greeted with an angry mother as she came to pick me up.
"Why?" She asks in a disapointed voice as I get into the car. Tears start to brim my eyes. I hate it when my mom is disappointed in me.
"I'm sorry. I really tried not to ease drop. See, I was walking away, but then I herd Mr. Forest shout at Ms. Bonette and I went to go see what they were talking about.I'm truly am sorry," my mom sighs.
"Well, you go say that to the principal, otherwise you get to do homework essays over the summer," I glance sideways at my mom.
"Lucky me," I joke in the most sarcastic voice I can manage. My mom chuckles. I look out the window as we pull into the driveway.
"Hey...Um...mom?"
"Yes?" she relpies still keeping her eyes on the road.
"Can I still go to Lily's aunt's house tomorrow? I will do anything if you let me go. Please. Please."
My mom sighs again.
" I guess as long as you get your chores done tonight. I know how much you've been looking forward to this."
