For the past two weeks, Fizz had been diligently focusing on his recovery and adapting to his new prosthetic limbs. In the initial stages, using his arms proved to be quite the challenge. They often swung wildly, inadvertently knocking into walls or other objects. As for his legs, they presented a different set of hurdles. With one wrong move, he would propel himself upwards with such force that he'd collide with the ceiling, causing small cracks to form. Walking with his new limbs felt like an infant's first steps, filled with wobbles and stumbles.

Additionally, whenever Fizz attempted to grasp something, the results were less than graceful. Fragile objects would crumble into countless pieces in his hands, leaving him feeling a sense of frustration and helplessness. His journey to regain his physical abilities was a humbling and sometimes comical experience, as he learned to navigate the world with his prosthetic limbs.

However, every challenge was worth it, for Fizz was now prepared to bid farewell to the hospital and embark on his new journey, working alongside Mammon. While finishing packing his worn-down, brown suitcase, he caught the sound of approaching footsteps. Fizz turned around to see Jen walking towards him. A warm smile graced his face as he greeted her, "Hey, Jen."

Jen returned the smile, her purple hair gleaming in the light. "Hey, Fizz. I just came to say farewell and to see if you need anything before you leave."

Fizz closed his suitcase and replied, "Aw, thanks, Jen. I appreciate it, but I've got everything I need."

Jen sighed, a hint of sadness in her eyes. "I'm really going to miss you, Fizz."

Fizz's eyes softened, and he assured her, "I'll miss you too, Jen. But don't worry; I'll come back to visit my favorite nurse."

Jen giggled at his words. "Well, actually, Fizz, the next time you visit, I won't be a nurse anymore."

Puzzled, Fizz inquired, "What do you mean... Oh shit, did they fire you? Was it because of me? I should've known that I went too far when I asked you to help me prank some of the doctors out of boredom."

Jen laughed and shook her head, reassuring him, "No, Fizz, that has nothing to do with it. What I meant was that I've been promoted to become a doctor."

Fizz was taken aback, his cheerful smile reflecting his surprise as he exclaimed, "Really, Jen? That's fucking fantastic!" Overwhelmed with excitement, he leaped for joy upon hearing the wonderful news and then enveloped Jen in a tight hug. The unexpected embrace startled Jen, but she quickly reciprocate the gesture, her warm smile revealing the genuine pleasure she found in connecting with her patients. It was precisely the reason she had chosen a career in nursing, and her aspirations extended to becoming a doctor to aid even more people.

Amidst their heartwarming embrace, a gentle knock echoed from the partially open door, prompting both Jen and Fizz to turn and discover Mammon entering. He greeted them with a smile and inquired, "Well, I hope I didn't interrupt anything?"

Releasing their hug, Fizz responded, "Hey Mammon, I'm just finishing up packing." However, Mammon's somber expression hinted at something amiss, leaving Fizz puzzled. Thoughts raced through his mind, and he couldn't help but wonder, "What's going on?"

In response to Fizz's query, Mammon began, "When you were recuperating in the hospital, I couldn't shake an unsettling feeling about the circus fire. So, I decided to investigate the matter personally." Fizz was shocked, his disbelief evident in his expression. "But why would you go to such lengths?" he asked, his voice tinged with confusion.

Mammon's response was heartfelt as he confessed, "Because I was genuinely concerned for your well-being. I wanted to understand the cause of the accident so that I could better protect you."
