i came back in through my window and gwen rushed over to me.

"is kingpin gone?"

"no, he got away. hobie took a bullet for me"

"oh my god, is he ok?"

"yeah, his suit is bulletproof"

"ok you can trust him then right"

"im not 100 percent sure if i really trust him, the grenade he gave me didn't go off"

"that's strange, but it could have just got jammed or something"

gwen took my mask off and sat me down.

"well good thing is your ok"

"you don't have to worry, i've been spiderman for a whole year now"

"yeah i know, but youre my boyfriend. i gotta worry"

i pulled her in a kissed her

"you're right"

my phone went off and it was a call from the friendly neighborhood spiderman app.

"let me take this"

i picked up the phone and heard a familiar voice

spiderman, it's black cat. i don't want a fight. come see me on top of the nyc bank

she hung up and i was really confused

"miles? you ok? who was it"

"it was felicia"

"what did she want?"

"she wants me to meet her on top of the bank"

"miles please don't do that, i don't trust her"

"i have to see what she wants"

"miles" her voice got more stern

"im sorry, ill be back! promise"

i jumped out the window and swung my way to the bank.

i landed on the bank and looked around for black cat.

"over here spiderman"

i turned around and she was sitting at the edge of the building.

"blackcat, what do you want"

"i'm leaving"

"what do you mean?"

"im leaving new york, and i want you to come with me"

she stood up and approached me.

"we can start a life together spiderman"

"you know that's impossible"

"how is it impossible"

"i'm not just spider-man, im a person too. i have a life here"

she rubbed her hand against my cheek.

"who are you under there"

if i showed her who i was maybe she'd understand why i can't leave. i've been showing way to many people who i am. but she's leaving? and i know felicia. she's a bad person but she wouldn't snitch.

i turned around and removed my mask.

i slowly turned back around and felicia gasped.
