Sirius found Marlene sitting alone in the courtyard, her face put tight, with a small frown playing on her lips. She looked upset. "Hey mars, why the long face?" Sirius asks

Marlene looks up and she sighs. "Dorcas is avoiding me, I thought I would be able to approach her and talk like a normal human being, but she's everywhere except with me. Anna said I should give her time." Marlene says "Sounds like a good plan...Mars when we dated you came on a little strong, It's one of the many things I liked about you. But when people need their space to come to terms with their feelings, it's not exactly what they need. Dorcas is very lovable but also she's very insecure, she just has her mother." Sirius says

Marlene felt defeated, she loved Dorcas so much, and she just wanted to show her that.

"Space." She sighs softly

"Have you seen Anna? She missed her first class." Sirius says

....

Anna sat across from Tom as the train started to move, her eyes taking in her surroundings, searching for Lestat. "He's not coming, Anna," Tom says, her eyes snapping to him. Tom watched her with dark green eyes, legs crossed over the other.

Anna sighs harshly out of her nose. How is she in this situation for the second time this month?

"You must be thinking. How is Annabelle Grindelwald stuck again for the second time this month? All I can say on the matter is to choose your friends wisely." Tom teases

Anna tenses, raising her Occlumency shields, sending him a glare. Tom hums amused.

The blonde witch peers over at the door, shifting in her seat. She knew what he was implying. Lestat. She wished it wasn't him, the Auror was her mother's guard and that daunting thought ate at her.

But she was a suspicious person by nature, so she wasn't as vulnerable this time.

Before Tom could react, "Petrificus Totalus." She yells, revealing her wand. Thankfully, when she had approached the Auror, she knew not to trust him. Especially after he told her about the tracker on her wand, something she had already known to look for.

Anna watches as Tom stiffens completely in his seat, jaw clenching in anger. The young witch sighs, standing on her feet and approaching the dark wizard. With a pale hand, she gently grabs his chin, eyeing his perfectly sculpted face.

"I am no longer that naïve little girl you abused. She's gone. And I am done giving you chances." Anna hisses, she knew what she had to do. "I love you, Tom, I will always love you. But I am done being afraid." She whispers

"Avada-" Before she could finish her sentences, her throat started to close up, making her gasp, clutching her throat to relieve some of that tension. Her face slowly turned pale, stumbling back.

She knew that if she stayed for any longer he would begin to regain movement, so with a wave of her wand she Apparates, her smoke form breaking through the glass.

....

Anna lands with a harsh thud on the ground of the woods, her body spasming as she struggles to breath. Finally, she releases a cough, her face regaining its color.
