My Summer Girl ( Steven Conklin x OC )

Every Summer Cousins has a little sports competition to raise money, this year was volleyball so everyone formed teams of two. Belly teamed up with Taylor who was coming down for the day and Cordelia teamed with her best friend and now boyfriend Steven. 

Steven thought it would be cute if they had matching outfits so they went out and got matching t-shirts and visors the morning of the volleyball playoff. 

"I like your visors." Belly said. 

Cordelia smiled "Oh, thanks. We got them this morning. Steven insisted on the green because he says it makes our eyes pop." They chuckled.  

"Yeah. Yeah, they're really popping. " Taylor said, she looked at them and tried to smile "You guys look good together." 

Cordelia could see the hurt in Taylor's eyes "Thank you Taylor, See you on the court."

Susannah smiled at the gathering crowd "Good afternoon. I'm Susannah Fisher chair of the club's community service board, and I am delighted to welcome you to Play It Forward!" the crowd cheered. 

Susannah continued "You know, as my mother used to say, if you're lucky enough to be at the beach, you're lucky enough. And we are very fortunate indeed which is why, in the spirit of fun and friendly competition it is time to open our hearts and our wallets and give back to those who may not be as fortunate. We have teams raising money for homelessness, women's shelters, environmental causes and many more. And Play It Forward will match pledges for the winner of the tournament! Pledge tables still open, so please donate generously. And with that, I say let the games begin!" she announced. 

They played against a bunch of different teams and eventually it was just Steven and Cordelia vs Belly and Conrad. Belly had to swap her partner 2 times. First Taylor got injured then Conrad got subbed in for Jeremiah because Volleyball is not one of Jere's strong points. 

After a long, hard and very close game eventually they had a winner. 

Susannah announced "And the winners are Isabel Conklin and Conrad Fisher!"

The crowd cheered and Cordelia smiled and hugged Belly "You did so good" a bunch of people came over to congratulate Belly and Conrad so Cordelia went to find Taylor. 

"How's your ankle?" she asked. Taylor stood up perfectly fine "It's better."

Cordelia nodded "So you used the fake injury to  get Jeremiah and Belly closer together." Taylor nodded "I'm Team Jelly"

"Nice I was Team Bonrad but I've been Team Jelly for a while now" Cordelia explained. "Well see you later." 

Belly came over to Taylor and she got congratulated again. Nicole came over smiling "Belly. Hey." 

Belly smiled "Hey, Nicole. Uh, you remember my friend Taylor?" 

"Yeah, hi." she said before completely ignoring her "Um, so my dad's boat just came up from Anguilla. Um, so what do you guys think about a pizza and rosé in a few hours? Just something fun to end the day. And you're more than welcome to come, too, Taylor." 

"Will Cordelia be there?" Taylor asked, almost nervously. 

"No, she has plans to go to Liam's party with her new boyfriend Steven. I mean when did that happen." Nicole gossiped. Belly could sense the tension so she nodded "Yeah, we'll be there."
