"Bye mum! Bye dad!" Sophie Foster called to her parents, dashing out the door.
She sprinted to the bus stop, just in time to see the bus...driving to school!
She ran after it, waving her arms and calling to the bus driver. No luck. The bus driver didn't see her.
Some of the kids on there started laughing and filming. She looked for him...and saw him. Fitz. Her crush. He wasn't laughing at her...just staring. Straight. Into. Her. Soul.
She sighed and slowed to a walk. It would be a tough day today.
Sophie Foster is the least popular person in her class. Fitz...was the exact opposite. Sophie just...watched him from afar...
He had to notice soon, right? Sophie had had a crush on him for two years. But...if she was honest, she didn't really have a crush on him anymore. At least, she didn't like him as much as she had before.
She glanced at her watch and sighed. School would be starting in two minutes. There was a REASON she went on the bus! So she could get to school. On. Time!
