Again, so sorry for not updating! I really hope you enjoy this chapter!!

"I..I like Keefe better." As soon as Sophie said it, sirens sounded outside. It was the police! They knocked on the door. Everyone went wild. It was complete catastrophe!

Sophie got barrelled down by everyone trying to escape. She got trampled on. The last thing she felt before she blacked out were strong, reassuring arms pulling her up.

Sophie's eyes fluttered open. "Yes...I'm so sorry. Thank you." She heard Keefe say to the officers still at the door. Keefe came back and sat down on the couch (which was where she was lying) next to her. He suddenly noticed that she was awake.

"Oh, hey, Foster. Everyone else is gone. Do you have your phone? You can call your parents to pick you up." He said. Sophie looked around for her phone. Then she found it...smashed up, lying on the floor. "Oh no! My phone...!" She cried.

Her eyes welled up with tears, and she turned to the closest thing to cry into. Keefe. She hugged him, and at first he didn't know what to do, until he slowly put his arms around her and hugged her. "Sophie, it's ok. Do...you wanna.." he got interrupted by Sophie saying; "Can I stay here tonight? W-with you?"

Keefe looked flustered. "Uh..sure. Just let me call your parents." He said, getting out his phone. With a pang, Sophie remembered about her parents. She wasn't ready to tell any else apart from the Vackers about them. "I-I've been staying with the Vackers lately...just call them." She said, looking away.

Keefe called Alden, and told him the plan. Alden was fine with her staying there, and was relieved that she was safe. Keefe led Sophie to his massive bedroom. "I'll sleep on the couch. You sleep on my bed." He said, clearing a bunch of stuff off his bed.

Keefe handed Sophie some spare clothes that could work as pyjamas. It was a shirt (oversized for Sophie) that was just plain red. And black shorts.

She put them on, then climbed into Keefe's bed, trying her best to ignore his stares.

It took forever to fall asleep. Her brain just wouldn't let her forget the fact that she was in Keefe's bedroom! Sleeping in his bed!! Sleeping in. The. Same. Room!!!

When she finally fell asleep, it was a rough one. She tossed and turned the whole night, her parents refused to get out her head.

"Sophie?! Sophie?! Wake up!! Sophie!!!" A voice screams at her.

This took forever to write! So sorry!! But...I'm not sorry about the cliff hanger... 😈😈
