The dress had no sleeves which was perfect but I was a little afraid of showing my arms, "Sofia you're up" I walk onto the stage and I begin to play. I swayed to the melody as I changed the position of my fingers on the strings, the audience were dead silent so all you could hear was the violin. The song playing in the background was french so only a few people understood it, and after I hit the high note as the drums came in they all clapped. And I continued.
I was looking for the familiar faces of my family but I didn't see any of them only Mason, Maria and Ares but that was more than enough for me to continue to play with passion, oh how i missed playing the violin...
I noticed Marissa talking to a dark figure at the back of the theatre which caused me to look there a few times but I didn't let that distract me from playing.

I smiled as I saw all of them in the one place I didn't think of looking, which was in the VIP area which was dumb. I mentally face palmed myself as my smile grew just when the song ended. The audience fell into a round of applaud once again but I didn't pay attention and instead I waved at my family and they waved back. I noticed Marissa was still talking to that man but I ignored it again.
"Sofia Marchetti everyone-" the host was cut off by the sound of gunshots, I ducked as the host and choir ran, uh yeah leave the child to die I would roll my eyes but this was a life or death situation.
"Sofia!" I could hear my father's call I looked up slowly to see a man dressed in all black running towards the stage that I was standing on.
"No!" I heard him cry out again, the man grabbed my arm, so I grabbed his arm and twisted it, stealing his gun from his back pocket "what do I do?" I mutter as I fiddle with the gun in my shaking hands. "Sofia!" Matteo and Marco pull me away and take the gun out of my hands, I look around to see of anyone was still around but it was empty.
