I was in the middle of Maths when the principal came into the classroom "mind if I borrow Sofia for a moment?" he didn't really ask he said it in an 'i need to talk to Sofia' tone. "knock yourself out" Mr Campbell who was american had different expressions casing me to snicker.

"Sofia" I nod and begin to follow him, "you aren't in any trouble" he reassures me and I nod in response. Soon we come to a halt and he opens a double door to a theater filled with people, "i'm sorry this is on such short notice but we have some big donors here and I thought you'd like to play for us" 

"sure but I'd like to play with my own violin if that's okay" he nods to my request. "Your father is here so i'll ask him" he says with a wide smile.

After Marissa (Sofia's Personal maid) brought her Bell.

After I had finished playing I was packing my things when Papa came backstage "you did amazing!" he chuckles "thank you!" getting a compliment from my father was different compared to strangers, "you played in your uniform?" I nod "I thought I got you-" 

"It's okay I wanted to" I finished backing my violin and walked away "see you after school bambina" I nod and continue to walk. 

Lunch

"Sofia! you're famous!" Maria exclaims "what?"  she shows me an edited video of me playing violin before the shootout. "you look stunning!" Mason praised as Ares glared at him. we all start to walk to the oval again because they all ate. "have you eaten?" Ares asks me "yes" I lie "have you eaten?" I rolled my eyes "I just said yes" I shrugged 

"You suck at lying" Maria chuckles "your nose goes pink when you lie" Ares states with a small smile replacing his poker face. "I'll eat later, we need to talk about what happened with Maria" I scold "she told us" Mason says with a blank face. 

We were all talking about some random shit when someone's phone rang, "not mine" Maria turned hers off "it's mine- private number" why me, couldn't it be someone else. 

...

"hello?"

"hey Sofia"

"James?"

"Miss me?"

"Did I?" I chuckle 

"I heard you found the note, congrats"

"Thanks! Are you coming back?" I ask eagerly 

"sadly I can't, but you can.." my smile fades, this guy was kind of pressing my buttons now

"what"

"Your father has the box to the key you have-"

"wait, what? I don't understand?"

"bare with me Sofia, open the box" then he ends the call. 

"son of a-" I mutter before shutting my phone off

"who was it?" Mason questions "James" I throw myself onto he floor, "what did he want" Ares rasped "he says my father has the box to the key we found?" I reply "i'm not going to steal from him I mean-" i was cut off by Maria "you don't have to" she says softly.

" i wanna walk you to class" Ares stands up interlinking our fingers together, and my dumbass blushed so fucking hard. "uh-what a-are you doing?" I need to stop stuttering. "taking you to class" I could hear the smirk in his voice, and I folded right there "my class is here bye" I lied but I was to embarrassed to keep walking, I mean i've never held hands with anyone before.
