After I told Bianca what happened once we got home I could feel myself drained out due to crying. "I didn't expect him to wait for me anyway" I say in-between sniffles, my eyes were on the verge of going the same red as my nose. I sighed heavily before allowing my head to drop "don't cry sis, I'm sure you'll find someone else in no time" she comforts me after handing me some lemon tea. "thank you" i wiped a loose tear before shakily taking a sip.
"how about we go to the beach, we don't even have to swim; we can just have fun. together." I agree and put on a pair of denim shorts and a green jumper to go with it
"they're playing beach volleyball! You're favorite!" she exclaims "when did I ever tell you that" I furrow my eyebrows because I joined tho school volleyball team because they didn't have a beach volleyball one and i'd always complain when I cleaned the house. "When you'd talk to yourself, I used to sit and listen- my room was next to yours dummy" she rubs her temple, I laugh and we ask the two men playing against each other if we could play; Their names were Fernando and Alvaro.
"Me and my sister verse you two" she says proudly "bet. The winner gets-" "fifty dollars" both men shrug at Bianca's offer "we don't have 50 dollars!" I whisper "we'll win for sure, show them how good you are" she hypes and I take my position "we'll serve" Alvaro who was the dirty blonde with a firm jawline and fairly average adam's apple causing his voice to sound deep takes the ball- not that i was examining him or anything.
I saved it from touching the ground and Bianca set it so I could spike but who I guess was his best friend Fernando saved it from touching the sand. The game continued like that but both teams scored points, Bianca and I were losing by one "set it really high okay" I pant "are you sure?" she whispers and I nod. Once I get the ball to a level Bianca could set she presses the ball up in the air and I run up and use all the energy I had to slap the ball in a topspin position, causing the ball to tuck in and pass the blonde by a couple centimeters.
"Yes!" I ran up to Bianca and high five her as the small crowd we gained cheered "well done" Alvaro sticks his hand out for me to shake, which I accept "we don't have fifty dollars" he nervously chuckles.
"you're good we didn't have it either" I chuckle, "you've been shaking hands for a while" Bianca teases as my cheeks tinted a light pink at the sudden embarrassment and I let go "we gotta go but we should, keep in touch" he passes my his phone and I type in my number "bye" I catch up with Bianca who was at least a meter away, near the shore line.
"Maybe he's your next boyfriend" she shuffles and I shake my head "I can't use him as a rebound" I kick my shoes off and keep them in my grasp as I walk inside the water at knee height. "say cheese" I snap a few pictures of her before getting out of the water since the waves were getting bigger. "Your turn to smile"

Once we got back home I had a shower and changed into a nike track pants and a oversized t-shirt. "Wanna watch a movie or something" "sure, I'll make some snacks"
I finally finished placing different fruits and sweets and I placed it on my bed but Bianca wasn't there so I looked in her room and it was empty, now getting worried I take my headphones "go away, she doesn't want you here" her voice yelled furiously "I need to see her, please" I peak my head from the wall downstairs to see Ares there with messy hair and something held tightly in his hands.
"Bianca?" her head snaps in my direction and I nod for her to go wait upstairs "what are you doing here-" he cuts me of with a hug and all I wanted to do was hug him back but I stood my ground and lightly shove him off.
"you're drunk" I couldn't even bring myself to look at him "Sofia" he lifts his right hand and tries to hold my face but I move it back "look at me, please" his voice broke, he steps forward and takes both my hands. My eyes eventually met his and once they did his lips curved upward.
"I want you Sofia, all I have wanted was you ever since I laid eyes on you. I can't explain my affection for you, I never wanted to propose to Valentina but mama insisted. When I saw the video of you at the beach with another man today and it took every inch of self-control to not beat the shit out of him, I lose my mind everytime you smile; it drives me insane. I fucking love you Sofia" he confesses "Ares I will not settle for being the other woman in your relationship with your fiance, I wont." I tell him as tears welled up inside my eyes. "please leave, I wasn't raised to be that person" I shake my head "just don't give up on us yet" he runs his fingers through his tousled hair, I sigh before closing the painted white door.
After I made sure he was gone a great tremor overtook me. Tears raced down my cheeks causing Bianca to come rushing over. A great sob escaped my slightly swollen lips, as i covered my face with shaking hands. i mumbled incomprehensible words through my hands while i choked on my un-ending sobs and constant sniffing like i was resisting tears. There was really no point

Is it just me or do you guys always make up my own edits (I don't know if this is a thing only editors on tiktok do) to certain 'scenes' of the books if they were movies and had video clips... RANDOM IK😭😭😭😭
