𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒓𝒕𝒚-𝒆𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕

The mafia thing was stuck in the back of my mind. I walk out of the bathrooms and head to the auditorium where we'd normally hold assemblies.

I slipped inside and sat at the back, I left Maria to put my bag in my locker so I would be able to get it back later, "good afternoon students of Milan alto!" the principal continues about some school news stuff and extra credit things you can join in. 

"Sofia!" I hear someone whisper yell behind me but I ignore them "Sofia!" I huff and turn around "what" I look next to me and see no one so I look behind me "mind if I sit?" Nikolai points to an empty seat on my right, "didn't know we had an assembly" he fixes his suit and I nod "I heard you have a boyfriend" he says with a tint of disappointment, I nod again a little confused glancing over to Ares's friend next to me. 

"it's a shame, I really like you" I almost choke on my saliva, "oh well i'm happy with Ares thanks" I nervously laughed, eye asking for help to the girl next to me and once she notices she speaks up "hey can we swap seats I mean i'd love to meet the new kid" she says loud enough for Nikolai to hear "oh sure" I swap seats with her "thank you" I whisper to her "no problem, I'll bring this up with Ares" she winks, I don't know why but I kept thinking about how Ares might kill him or what if he got Enzo or something to kill him. 

"Thank you for your time" Mr. Russo exits the stage, I stand up and head to my home-group classroom which was only 3 rooms away, our teacher Mr. Campbell does the role in a strong American accent slightly reminding me of my life in America. "Sofia?"
"here" I say in a bored tone before going on my phone like everyone else.

After School

"Sofia" Ares's voice echoes through the empty hallway, I had Violin practice for 30 minutes? How long did he wait for me? "yeah" I stay tense "I wanted to say if Nikolai bothers you, you can tell me" he steps closer to me as his near 6 foot image towers over me "y-yeah he was at the assembly but I swapped seats with on of your friends" I pinkey promised not to lie and I take pinkey promises seriously. He smiles at me before picking me up and spinning me around. After he put me down he was still hugging me.

"what's this for?" I chuckle forgetting what he said at lunch, "I'm lucky to have you, and for the record i'm not letting you talk to any guy but me" he said in his cold tone as I laugh again "see you tomorrow" I kiss his cheek and walk away, I could tell he was a little flustered because when I looked back he was staring at me with slightly wide eyes and crimson cheeks, looks like I have an effect on him too.
