Shadow then sees he's past life as y/n in them it reminds how even now ss he's new life as shadow he still feels grateful for the memories he still keeps with him as a way to more forward a bit more.

Then shadow gets a call from Abraham the g.u.n commander

Shadow thought for a moment but knew he couldn't fight maria about he's well being so he signed and said yes sir as he end the communication as he send the message to Rouge and omega that they are done with today

Rouge signed in  relived in the comms as she felt like she needed it after flying all day while omega felt indifferent as he's a robot he doesn't know exhaustion.

Then after a while they get a communication from tails about a party a celebration because of the black arms fallen

Sonic basically wanted them to come as shadow was basically the big hero during the fight even tho it was a group effort between the both of them but sonic decide to be a bit humble.

Shadow and the team nod to themselves and agreed to be there around the mid afternoon when the party started .

Shadow pov : I made it there atleast it wasn't as far as I expected considering tails and sonic live back in green hills

I go over to the blue styled house which I knew instantly was sonic house considering he's the only person who would use a dark blue in the area

Rouge appear from behide as she sign saying that big blue really knows how to decorate he's home alright

I sighed as I stop the two as they calmed down as I knock on the door

Sonic pov : I had everything ready even made a black arms theme cake to eat as a way to celebrate even tails invited everyone including knuckles even tho he rarely leave angel island even tho Eggman been laying low recently so hopefully knuckles meet up

I see tails fly down the room as I see him help me with decorations even amy came by ealier to help out even tho I stayed a distance a bit considering her likeness for me a bit too much as I still considering her as a friend

Then the door knock as I open the door seeing shadow and the rest of team dark as I got a bit too excited as I hug shadow

I said but then blush as I think I did too much as I let go and laugh a bit nervously even shadow too and was I seeing a blush too no I am thinking way too much

Present pov : shadow and everyone had a good time playing board games even knuckles came by for once which made Rouge a bit intrigued sinch the red head wouldn't even come to a place if it was a emergency.

As then the party settled down within a few hours as the sun settle down as shadow decide to have some peace and quiet to himself going to a hill behind sonics house after being tired out of playing games and such untile he heard a familiar voice

Sonic : hey shadow what you doing by yourself * he said with he's regular grin as shadow didn't mind it *

Shadow : just tire out from all of that nonsense

Sonic : I wouldn't call it nonsense if you enjoyed it * faker *

Shadow chuckle a bit as that was the first nickname sonic given him when they first met it was nostalgic hearing that nickname again

Sonic sat down beside him as they see the setting sun go down as sonic got a bit closer and again shadow didn't mind but in he's mind he was thinking of all thing how come him sonic and him have this close interaction and why does he blush around him unless * he paused in he's mind as he look at sonic a bit before Turing away quickly before sonic notice.

Maybe it was true but it was interesting as far enough he enjoyed the sonic games in he's past life always thought of sonic as someone to look up too as then he can see sonic stare at him as shadow blush a bit as he spoke

Shadow: so…it's been a year sinch we meet

Sonic : yes it has I have to say it was a wild journey * saying as they both remembered there first meeting ubtile now as then shadow couldn't help but feel more in love even tho it's smt he never experienced before in he's past life *

Sonic grab he's hand and hold it tight as sonic look to be embarrassed to say smt

Shadow look to sonic more unusual pattern as then sonic spoke .

Sonic : I want to have more adventures with you shadow not just as rivals or friends I considering you as smt more * then sonic got up and bravely ask .

Sonic : shadow will you be mine partner ?

Shadow didn't understand untile sonic kiss him this unsure feeling was bursting from shadows heart as it flows open as then lafter the kiss it took shadow several mins even making sonic nervous as sonic felt like he did smt wrong but then shadow kisses him back in surprise but hold it as then knuckles and Rouge can be seen in the distance exchange money
