15. Punishment

I assumed it was an easy task.

Sebastian didn't mention the mess that occurred, while we had talked. My jaw dropped at the sight of the hall "What happened here?"

"The staff didn't control Pluto and he ran into the mansion...making this mess."

"This is horrible! You expect me to do this, all by myself?!" I looked at the butler in disbelieve. Unfortunately, this is Sebastian we are talking about, his devious smile didn't fade. "This is your job not mine. I suggest you begin now."

With that, he gave me the stuff to clean with and sat in a seat nearby, reading a book. "Are you seriously watching over me?!" He looked up, "I want to make sure that you don't slack off."

I had no choice but to accept my defeat!

As I moved the mop around the floor, I began to sing and dance to it. Only to be stopped by the butler, "No singing N/A, the master is asleep." "Why can't I just do it in the morning?" "Because you ruined the previous day for me, now quit complaining...start doing." "You are evil!"

He smirked wide at me, "What can I say...I am simply...one hell of a butler."

"More one hell of a Jackass more like" I mumbled, continuing my job, until I was done in six hours. I looked at the butler with a raised brow, as he got off the chair and inspected my work. "Looks good...But...the corners are still not spotless. I get you more water and a smaller mop" he said, leaving towards the kitchen.

"Oh, so he does have a good side after all" I thought, smiling a little.

Waiting for him to come back, I heard something outside. Out if curiosity, I looked out the window that was near the main door. It was still dark outside and I couldn't see a thing.

Bamm!!! WAUUUUU!!!!!

"EH????!!!!" I jumped, while a huge creature ran around the clean floor. I shrieked suddenly, "Ahhhh, nooo....don't mess up the floor Pluto...bad dog, bad dog!!!" I couldn't get him out myself; he is too huge and too strong to handle on my own. Thankfully, Sebastian returned now and made sure of the hound. Once he got him out, I stood in the middle of the hall...surrounded by dirt.

The butler sighted, "Oh N/A, I guess....you have to start all over." I take it back, he has no good sides at all!

"Are you kidding me???" I said not believing the butler's words. He couldn't care less, "I am too busy to joke around now. Finish your job, once you are done, you can find me in the kitchen."

Inside my head, I was screaming in frustration. Another six hours I will waste on cleaning the same floor! I breathed deeply and began to do it all over again.

The young lord was already awake by now, sitting in his study with Sebastian. The rest of the staff was outside, doing gardening work. At least no one was bothering me or is ruining my work again. Although, I forgot that we have some chaotic members in this mansion. I was proven right, as Finny ran inside with his dirty shoes, Mey Rin fell over and dropped the flower pots and Bard dropped the bags with soil. I took it lightly, while it was only a small area.

Wooosh!!!! WAUUUUU!!!!!

"Pluto!!!!!!" I screamed, looking like 'the scream' now. He spread it all around in seconds. I fell to the floor, whispering to myself, "I can't do it anymore, I am so tired." The staff didn't even help me clean, running out the mansion, screaming an apology towards me. This apology won't help me clean!!! Pluto lowered his head and went out again.

I didn't even have to see Sebastian; I know what he will say. I shuddered at the thought.

I did it again...for the third time, but now a little slower than before. To my surprise, neither Ciel nor Sebastian said anything, walking past me in the hall.

I have spent the whole day of cleaning the place, that I had a hard time to keep myself on my legs. I didn't have enough energy to walk to the maid's room. I couldn't even jump at the familiar voice behind me.

"Hello dearest, you don't look so well."

I turned around and fell into the arms of the man I was longing to see for so long. "Undertaker" I whispered, nuzzling into his chest. He wrapped his arms around me and whispered tenderly into my ear, "I missed you." Suddenly, I lost hold and fell off my feet. With that, he picked me up bridal style, telling me to close my eyes. I did so...falling into a deep slumber.

Deep in dreamland I didn't know what was happening next. The butler appeared and raised his arms towards the mortician, "Miss N/S if you please." "I didn't give her to you, so you can break her soul" said Undertaker, revealing his eyes to Sebastian. "You gave her to me, so she can work for you...once we marry. In the meantime, you will not get anywhere near her until that time comes." The mortician wasn't pleased of the butler's demand, "I don't let her marry a demon for fun, you will give her back to me...including her soul." Sebastian smirked, "So you have noticed my interest in her soul. I can't help it...she is...the rare type."

Undertaker knows about it and warned him once more, "If she dies because of you, I will hunt you down...that is a promise."
