38. A deal

But the night before was just as difficult. Pluto chased me around the fields, at the end I smelled even worse. Sebastian prepared a bath in the meantime. The demon dog only obeyed to the butler, because if his little treats. I clenched my fist, as he gave them one saying "good boy."

In the bath room, he stood beside me, not moving an inch. While I didn't understand his motive, he sighted, "What are you waiting for?"

"I don't know, you tell me."

"Aren't you going in?"

I gave him a glare, "Aren't you going out?"

"I will wash your back and hair. Just get it over with" making one step in my direction.

I flinched, "Don't you dare touch me!"

"Just get of off" raising his gloved hand towards me, I plashed him. He was soaked now, but his frown remained. He didn't like the way I looked at him. It was full of anger and fear. The demon stared, remembering that I was human, knowing that my reaction is completely normal towards his being. However, I wasn't aware of his true nature. If that is the case, is it still normal?

"What do you expect me to do?" he asked suddenly, in a more calming voice.

I was about to open my mouth, he interrupted, "I won't leave this room."

My mouth shuts.

I sighted, "Turn around and stay like that."

He finds my demand, rather childish, but obeyed. Slowly, he turned on his heel and faced the nearest wall. Now with his back to me, I slowly took every off. He didn't seem to tease me, by moving around. He stood very still. Relieved at the feeling of the warm water on my body, I couldn't help but moan in delight. The bubbles covered my entire being, so there was nothing to look at, not even for Sebby. Speaking of him, he turned at my sound and kneeled down near the bathtub. Covering my chest, he began to rub my back, "see, it wasn't that bad now was it?" I hummed in response, concentrating on the warmth. "I hope that we can start all over again."

"Huh?" this caught me off guard, "Why?"

"We had a bad start and I really don't want to fight with you."

I turned my face toward the butler, with my mouth wide open, "...who are you?...What have you done to Sebastian?"

He chuckled, "Very funny. So what do you say?"

I thought for a minute, "Under two conditions."

"What is it?" he didn't like the sound of that.

"One, I won't get forced to anything and two, I want to see undertaker every weekend."

Sebastian sighted, "every three weeks."

This was too long for me, "two weeks?"

"Three"

"...two."

He knew I won't back down, "Fine every two weeks. But in return, you will obey my orders, do your job and respect me in public."

I grinned wide, "I respect you...but only if I can stay the weekend by Unnie."

The butler watched my eyes carefully, "You may stay one day in his presence, but no sleepovers."

"Deal!"

I didn't see it, but on his hand, something glows. Sebastian frowned at the sight. If I had known that not every deal with a demon ends with losing the soul, I would have done this a lot sooner. Even more, since it was some kind of promise he decided, he had to keep it up. Demons can't go against their contracts...or deals, but only as long as I don't break the rules. Finally, I was clean again, smelling like wild roses. He raises a large towel, eyeing the wall. For once, I had some confidence in his presence. Wrapping the towel around me, rubbing me dry against his chest was...soothing. Why didn't Undertaker do this to me? Humming at the feeling, while imagine it would be Unnie, I closed my eyes. Thank god, that a demon can't read someone's mind. This would have only turned into another fight.

In the bedroom, he left me alone to get changed.

Once he came back, he held a hot bottle in his arm and a kitten, "I thought you might want some company." He seems to understand my confused face, "I can't be with you tonight. I got something to deal with."

"But not with Undertaker!" I said concerned.

"No...not him."

Before he left, he tucked me in and kissed my head tenderly, "Good night N/A."
