Walkie-Talkies

Watching the hooded figure walk away from us quickly, James couldn't help but think about the group of six. Usually, we'd only send four people in situations like this, but since Charlie and Bill were new to this kind of thing, Molly insisted that we all go to make sure they didn't get hurt.

Instead of throwing spells right away, we shadowed the man to find out where the rest of his gang was. James, along with Sirius and Frank, hid from view while the Weasleys, Remus, and Kingsley stayed visible. We weren't worried about being detected because we were dressed normally for the area. Remus only got caught because it was the full moon recently.

The way the man carried himself reminded James of Lily. He held himself tall, with his head high, even though he wasn't very tall. Well, he was tall...just, not as tall as me. He's about 5'9

We wished he'd take off his hood so we could see his face. We only knew he was part of the Legacies because of the snake emblem on his hoodie that had the motto, "If you are dying, please do so quietly." Sirius and James couldn't help but quietly laugh at it.

"Yo, he's talking on a walkie-talkie," Frank told me. He only knew what it was because Lily and Remus had rambled about it for hours on end when they had discovered it.

"Can't you just cast a spell to hear what he's saying? "

"That's a concentrated spell. Kingsley hasn't learned it yet and neither has the Weasleys. And, neither, me, you, nor Sirius paid attention when it was taught at Auror training level 4. And Remus is still a little exhausted from the full moon.

James huffed, he knew he should have paid attention when the Auror instructors were telling them about those spells. "Uh...C'mon let's try to get nearer. If we can... try to record it with the recorder-thingy Lily and Emma gave us."

Emma's another muggle-born, for background knowledge.

"Ya..."

Then suddenly, we came to a stop at a shaggy building. And then suddenly, there were smoke bombs being thrown at the merry group of six.
