Just like I promised, I met Alex at the cafe.
"So, how did you know about my teacup obsession?" I asked.
Alexander stared at my for a few seconds, "You don't remember telling me?"
I was really confused and a bit scared, I felt like I was being gaslighted because no one besides my mother knew about how I collect teacups as a hobby.
"Do you know my favorite teacup?" I asked.
"Yeah," said Alexander, "The one your grandmother bought in France. It was the last gift she gave you before she passed."
Now I was even more scared. I didn't want to believe that this nice guy was a stalker.
"You're stalking me," I exclaimed.
"No I'm not," he said calmly.
"Yes you are!" I said.
He sighed, "I wish you would remember telling me all of these things."
I knew for a fact that I never told him about what I collect because I was always to embarrassed to share it with others.
