"oh your finally home" i say heading to my room "sweetie come here" I pause and walk towards her and she sits me down holding my hand. "sweetie i'm so sorry" tears stream down her eyes and i'm stunned "I know i've been absent and i'm a horrible mother for making you take care of yourself and i'm so sorry i would give my life to change how i treated you" she broke down crying holding my hand "i will be better for you sweetie im sorry im sorry im sorry i wont let your father push you around any longer i'm sorry i swear i wont let anyone ever hurt you my baby i failed you i know" and that's when i zone out is she apologizing i don't know whether or not to believe her this time. what happened last night to make this happen.
"are you drunk..? where's dad?" after that last part she cries more hugging me "he wont be here for a while okay sweetie? I'm sorry but he needed a break from me. I just nod what did he do to her to break her so much she realized how horrible he is.
