i woke up with my head pounding, luckily i only had half a day because im new here. i get the other half of the day off to explore hogsmede and the rest of the school. i got ready for school and curled my hair. pans got up and seemed less hungover then me which wasn't hard, i was completely wasted last night i barely remember it.
"what do you have first?" pans asked whilst putting some books in her bag
"umm potions with snape, is he nice?"
"yeah to slytherins so you'll be fine"
"what do you have first then pans?"
"divination it's a waste of time but you do nothing for an hour so it could be worse"
we both were ready so we headed down for breakfast. today the group had kinda split, pans had told me how nia doesn't really sit with the group often because she's younger and stella has other friends who she sits with most of the time since she doesn't like sitting with her brother. which is understandable the only reason i can bare to sit with my siblings is because i've had no one else growing up. my parents aren't the best. my mother was away most of my childhood since she got taken to askaban but she returned when i was 12. my father has always favoured the boys over me and nova. He treats us all like shit though he curses us, hits us and he's set cyrus up with a marriage and i assume he'll do the same to the rest of us. Neither of them love us they were nice before we left so that we wouldn't make them look bad. it's always about the family name and their reputation they couldn't give two fucks about us.

i could feel matheo looking at me. i don't know why it bothers me it just does. he bothers me.
"what's everyone's first class?" i asked the group
"divination" pans, tori and theo groaned
"potions" blaise,enzo and xavier said
"me too" i felt better knowing i had some people in my class
"i have charms" both my brothers said
matheo nodded. i'm guessing he has charms as well.
draco and destiny both have care of magical creatures which draco wasn't happy about.
"getting taught by an oaf. my father will hear about this!" draco slammed his head on the table and pans gave him a reassuring pat on the back.
when i got to potions snape sat with three Gryffindors who hadn't been at the assembly.
"hi im hermione granger nice to meet you"
"im lyra nice to meet you too"
she stuck her hand out and i shook it giving her a nod.
"do you have a last name lyra?" a brown haired boy with glasses said.
"lestrange. lyra lestrange"
they all exchanged disapprovaing looks and moved away a few centimetres. like that would do anything
