all is forgiven

i skipped dinner as i wasn't hungry but instead went on a walk. i walked around the outskirts of the forest not going far in because its dangerous but far enough so i wasn't caught by staff. when i got back to the common room enzo, destiny, theo and cyrus were sat there. i put my head on enzos lap and stretched my legs on the the empty seat.
"you ok lyra?" enzo asked looking down at me
i hummed in response as i closed my eyes, the others continued there conversation and i fell asleep, i was woke up half an hour later and saw my legs were on matheo. i watched as he traced up and down from my lower thigh to calf.
"morning sunshine" enzo chirped
matheos head turned towards me and gave me a smile and lifting my legs off of him.
"we should go" matheo said taking my hand, leading me to his dorm
once i closed his door behind me i sat on the end of his bed as he stood leant against the wall.
"matheo im so so sorry. i never meant to hurt you , i didn't know what to do. i didn't know how to tell you-"
"i understand lyra. i know you didn't have a choice i know you didn't know it was maria. i'm sorry i didn't stay with you but it was a lot to take in. i was mad you'd kept it from me for so long but i know if the roles were reversed i wouldn't of known how to tell you"
he got up and hugged me
"are we ok?" i asked still slightly scared of the answer
"all is forgiven"
"are you ok? you lost your sister" i said hugging him tighter
"i lost her a long time ago her death was just confirmation that i wont get her back" he said pulling back i could see his eyes were glossy and i brought him back into my arms
he walked us over to his bed still not letting go he put his head in my chest his arms still around my waist as i played with his curls.
"i've missed this"
i felt him smile into my chest "it's been a day" he teased
we sat in silence enjoying each others embrace
"lyra?"
"yes love"
"what happened when you saw my father?"
"i-i went to confront him"
"if it's easier i could watch the memory"
i nodded, i couldn't find the words to say what happened. it wasn't even that bad compared to the shit i've been through but it was hard telling him something i know will only anger him.
i felt a small sharp pain in my head letting me know he was reading me. after a few minutes he flipped us over so i was straddling him
"kinky"
"lyra, you'd been hurt and i yelled at you im sorry" he said looking in my eyes i could see the pain
"im stronger then i look" i smirked pecking him on the lips
his hand went to the back of my head pulling my face closer and kissed me, he pulled back after some time and i rolled off of him.
"we have a meeting tomorrow" he informed me not looking at me
"who's going?"
"everyone" he said turning to look at me
"woo hoo" i said attempting to lighten the mood
matheo got up and went to the bathroom as i got comfy.
once he came out he was dressed in his joggers "so do you not shower?"
"hmm?" i asked shocked
"you've never showered here"
"i shower at my dorm, i showered this morning like i do most mornings"
"and here i was thinking you were a stinky bitch" he joked as i chucked my pillow at him
he hovered over me his wet hair dripping on me
"matheo riddle get off of me your hair is wet"
he got off and went to his side of the bed.

matheos pov:

i turned around to talk to her but she was fast aspleep, i pulled her closer and went to sleep. i'm so glad to have her back.

lyras pov:

i woke up early, matheo was in the bathroom doing his hair, i walked over to him "i need to go back to my dorm so i can get ready, see you at breakfast?"
"see you at breakfast love" he said kissing my check

i walked back to my dorm but when i went in pansy was still asleep.
"PANSY PARKINSON!!"
"WHAT THE FUCK?" she screamed
"morning sunshine" i paused "morning draco"
"morning lyra" draco replied nervously chuckling
"you two need to get up so we can go to breakfast" i said walking to the bathroom to shower and get dressed. i came back out and draco was gone and pansy was doing here makeup
"draco went to his dorm to get dressed he'll meet us there"
"sounds good"
nova came in our dorm making the two of us jump
"god nova knock next time, i almost died of a heat attack"
"have you seen my potions books i've got it first" she asked frantically looking around the dorm
"i haven't seen them but borrow mine, ill need them after lunch though" i said handing her my
guide to potions book
"cheers" she smiled leaving our dorm
"she seems more forgetfull recently" pansy sighed
"it's just the stress of school" i said not fully believing it
"you ready?" pansy asked
"yep" i replied finishing brushing my hair
she linked our arms and we walked to breakfast.
"i'm starving. i could eat a horse" pansy complained as we walked down some stairs
"well there's one there" i replied pointing at millicent bulstrode which made pansy chuckle
we got to the great hall as saw the group sat there
i sat myself between gabe and destiny with matheo across from me, pansy sat next to tori and draco across from cyrus who sat next to xavier and blaise. "where's nova?" xavier asked me
"she came to get some books from me but then left, i assumed she came to breakfast"
"we all thought she was with you and pansy" tori said
"ill go look for her" i said picking up some food for myself and nova
i sped walked to her dorm, her dorm door was open but no one was in there so i closed it and went to her potions class and there she was sat in her seat with my books open, the classroom was empty. "nova, sweetheart what are you doing in here? you need to eat in the great hall" i spoke calmly slowly walking towards her
"oh shit i forgot" she replied packing her bag "let's go then" she said as i stood still
"nova what's going on with you?"
"nothing i'm fine just a tad forgetful"
"okay" i smiled still not fully convinced
we walked to the great hall and she sat next to xavier "where were you?" he asked worriedly
"she was in her dorm doing her hair" i interrupted
"yeah my hair" she smiled kissing him
matheo gave me a worried look, he knew id lied to xavier and was confused why. i gave him an assuring smile. "what's everyone got first?" i asked
"history of magic" destiny groaned
"same" enzo, me and cyrus said
"how come you in a lower year class"
"i've been kept behind in that class because i'm behind in it" he explained
me and reg laughed at him and he responded with a glare.
shiver me timbers
"i've got potions with slughorn" matheo said
"me too" reg said
"me and nova have potions with snape" pansy groaned
"lucky you" draco joked
"me, gabe and tori have astronomy" blaise said
i continued eating whilst the others talked.
"we should go to history soon or Professor Binns will kill us" enzo said getting up and waiting for us
"how would he do that enz? he's a ghost" i reasoned
the four of us got up and i kissed matheo on the cheek to say goodbye and we walked to class, enzo swung his arm around me and we laughed whilst destiny and cyrus walked hand in hand.
we got to class and chose our seats, i sat in between destiny and enzo, and cyrus sat next to destiny.
"mr berkshire and miss lestrange will you hand out the text books from the back"
we nodded and went to the back and handed the text books out to everyone and sat back down.
"right class today we will be learning about dark magic and the history of it" he said in his mundane voice
hermiones hand shot up "yes miss granger"
"will we be learning about death eaters?" she asked and i could feel students gaze on us four.
"no miss granger we will not. however we will learn about dementors and witches and wizards who were sent to askaban. who can name a witch or wizard who went to azkaban?"
hermiones hand shot up again
"bellatrix and Rudolph lestrnage"
me and cyrus tensed up and most students had turned to look at us
"yes and who knows why they were imprisoned?"
this time harry potters hand shot up
"yes mr potter"
"the pair along with other death eaters used the cruciatus curse on frank and alice longbottom until they went mad"
"correct, who else can name someone who went to askaban and why?"
this time i put my hand up
"lyra what are you doing?" cyrus whispered
"yes miss lestrange"
everyone's heads whipped around to look at me
"sirius black. he was imprisoned for the murder of peter petigrew" i watched as harry shifted angrily and uncomfortably in his seat. i knew sirius was innocent but he came for my family so i came for his.
professor binns continued teaching not that anyone was really listening. finally after what seemed like an eternity he dismissed class and destiny and i walked to the astronomy tower and were met by draco and nia. Professor Sinistra babbled about different constellations, it was pretty boring but me and draco were sat next to each other so we just chatted.
then i had flying lessons for two periods. i thought it was a useless lesson since everyone in there 5th year knew how to fly. finally we had lunch me and pans walked to the great hall with draco and enzo behind us, i saw reg, matheo and cyrus were all sat down, i sat next to matheo.
"i hate flying lessons" i grumbled resting my head on his shoulder
"you only hate it because draco won" pansy said
"he cheated" i mumbled
"i did not!" draco protested
"has anyone seen nova? i need my potions book back for next lesson" i asked looking around the group
"no she's not been here but she might come with the blaise and xavier they all had transfiguration" reg said
"you know what else i hate" i said turning around to look at the gryffindor table
"what?" matheo asked
"harry fucking potter" i replied turing back around
"he was a dick in history of magic" destiny said walking over to us and sitting next to cyrus
"i should've punched him" cyrus said glaring at potter
"what did the git do?" pansy asked
"we were learning about askaban in class and prisoners and granger and potter brought up our parents" i explained
"yeah but then lyra brought up sirius black" enzo chuckled
everyone went into there own conversations, destiny and cyrus were talking about weddings, enzo was talking to draco about upcoming quidditch games and pansy listened i shifted in my seat to face matheo more
"how was class?" i asked as he put his arm around my waist
"boring, you?"
"funny"
"ill come get you and the girls tonight" he said kissing my forehead
"sounds like a plan" i said looking around the room for nova
"she's probably with xavier don't worry, you can have my potions books"
"thank you" i smiled looking up at him
"matheo we should head to class before professor mcgonagol kills us" reg joked patting him on the back.
"goodbye angel" he said kissing my lips
"see you later" i waved
"what've you got lyra?" destiny said linking arms with me
"potions but i don't know where xavier and blaise are and they're in my class" i complained
"they'll turn up"

i walked into class but someone was sat in my seat, it was some hufflepuff. "miss lestrange you will be sat at the back with the zabinis"
i happily walked over to there empty seats and sat in the middle. 10 minutes into the lesson Xavier and blaise walked into class and sat down.
"where have you been?" i whisper shouted not wanting be noticed by Snape
"we wanted to skip but got caught" xavier said sitting down on my left
"that's a fat lie"
"nuh uh" he said opening his book
"were you with nova at lunch?" i asked blaise ignoring xavier
"yeah we were in the courtyard she didn't feel like going to the great hall" blaise explained
"miss lestrange and mr zabini something to share with the class?" professor snape said from the front of the class
"no sir" we both said
"good." snape continued with the lesson
"we have a meeting tonight remember" i reminded the twins
"yeah yeah" xavier dismissed me
"what's got you in a mood?" i asked
"he's just in one of his moods" blaise informed me
"i am not" xavier huffed
"i'm bored. want to skip?" blaise asked us
"but we're already in class" i countered
"cmon lestrange" i looked between the two of them who both had puppy dog eyes
"fine fine let me get my stuff" i packed my bag and they dragged my arm
"MISS LESTRANGE MR ZABINI AND MR ZABINI GET BACK HERE" snake yelled after us
the three of us ran to the common room laughing
i fell onto the sofa and the boys sat down.
"wanna get high?" xavier asked holding up a bag of joints
"yessss" me and blaise said eagerly
after an hour we were all extremely high.
"what are you three doing?" cyrus asked walking in with matheo and enzo
"well we ran away from snape" i laughed
matheo sat next to me putting his arms around his waist
"sharing is caring" he said
"absolutely not we have a meeting in a few hours we can not show up high" cyrus lectured snatching the joints away from us
"party pooper" blaise said throwing a cushion at him
"boooooo" me matheo blaise and xavier yelled
"yeah yeah cmon drink" he said throwing me a bottle of water
"i mean id prefer vodka"
