Broken

wedding day

today was the big day.

cyrus and destiny's wedding
i couldn't wait id spent all night doing the last
minute touches of the wedding as maid of honour
the weather was perfect and i woke up early to check everything again
"destiny wake up" i said to the body that was spread on my bed
"coming" destiny replied
the other girls ran into the dorm and started helping her get ready whilst i went to check on the groom
"you alright cyrus" i asked peeping my head in the door
"ah ah ah the groom doesn't want to be seen" matheo shook his head poking my head out the door and coming out closing the door behind him
"cmon i'm his little sister"
"he's in no state to be seen"
"nerves?"
matheo nodded
"have fun then" i said going on my tip toes and kissing his cheek before skipping back to destiny's room

a few hours later

we were doing the finishing touches on destiny's dress

"destiny you look breathtaking" i complimented passing her flowers
"thank you lyra, for everything. you like
a sister to me and i'm so grateful for you"
"thank YOU for making me your maid of honour it's a privilege" i bowed walking out the room to sit with the others in the ceremony room

matheo stood with my brother waiting as me and the girls walked out in our dresses that were shades of pink, orange and purple.
he winked at me and i felt myself blush
the music started and destiny walked down in her beautiful dress

the ceremony was over they were officially married and i couldn't be happier for them.
i walked over to matheo and he stood with his mouth open
"you look- i mean absolutely perfect"
"imagine how good i'll look on our wedding day"
"i'm the luckiest man alive" he said pulling me into a kiss
i pulled away "and i'm the luckiest woman"
he smiled and kissed me again before i got dragged away to make a speech

"ahem, attention time for the maid of honour's speech" cyrus clinked his glass and all faces turned to us

"i'm going to be one of many who wish the couple a lifetime of happiness. i love them both so much and it makes my heart full seeing the love you have for each other. growing up cyrus was my brother, friend, role model and partner in crime. we did everything together, the four of us siblings  have a strong bond but cyrus has always been there for me and as much as i love reg and nova the bond between me and cyrus has always been different. destiny, when we moved you were so sweet to me. you've wiped my tears, made me laugh, held hair back and been a sister to me and nova. i love you both so so much and i can't wait to see the future you have together"

i gave destiny and cyrus a hug and could see destiny getting teary eyed

a few hours later and destiny and cyrus had gone to brazil for there honeymoon. me and matheo were sat with the others drinking and talking.
i was sat snuggled into matheos chest listening to him talk to reg about something.
"you wanna head up to bed?" matheo asked glancing down at me
"no i'm alright staying here" i smiled back at him as he placed a kiss on my forehead
i turned to pansy and nova who were sat with draco and xavier
"one wedding down three to go" draco joked
"who's is next?" pansy asked looking between the group
"matheo and lyra" nova said nodding towards us
"have you got the date?"
matheo shrugged
"december 14th" i answered
the group continued talking and laughing
"you got the whole wedding planned?" matheo asked looking down at me
"you sound surprised" i retort as he lets out a chuckle
"i can't wait"
"that makes the two of us"

matheo and i headed to bed after pansy and draco did, we spent the night talking about wedding plans. even though i knew exactly what it'd look like
