The Mikaelson family had just come back from celebrating another one of Hope's milestones.

Hope decided that even though it was late, she needed to talk to her brother. The same brother who never went with them anywhere.

Hope never questioned it, she was more than content to receive all of the attention.

"Adonis!" Hope barged into her brother's room without knocking, a rather common occurrence. The auburn headed was surprised when Adonis' room was completely cleaned out and the only thing remaining was his furniture and a bunch of letters.

"MOM!!!!" Hope yelled and began pacing. Where could her brother have gone? They were gone for two hours, how could he have just left?

"Adonis' gone!" Hope cried, tears running down her face. She was panicking. Her little brother was gone.

Hayley looked around the room and saw that everything was indeed gone, along with her child. The rest of the family had immediately come upstairs after hearing Hope's crying.

Hayley was bawling her eyes out. Her second-born child was gone. Klaus had tears in his eyes. Someone he had sworn to protect, his child, had vanished without a trace.

"He left something behind." Rebekah pointed out the letters that rested on the mattress. By this time Kol, Elijah, and the others had arrived back after seeing Adonis off.

Each Mikaelson picked up their letters and were stunned.

He cut them out of his life.

Mary Jane, the original Heretic, was tearing up at what her ex-nephew had written. Had her really been so blind? She consistently praised one niece for his intellect and skill yet ignored her nephew who probably equally, if not more so intelligent.

Freya also had tears in her eyes. She had been so focused on the firstborn Mikaelson that she had never thought about helping the second-born child and the power that he held as well.

Rebekah was sobbing. After so long of wanting a family, she had someone who was willing to do things and spend time with him and she ignored him existence completely.

Hayley at this point was a mess. Her only son hated her. She failed as a mother, and that was something that she promised she would never do. Hayley remembered every single flower crown and they still sitting in her room. She thought that Hope had made them.

Klaus was pissed. How could he have done this? His so compared him to Mikael, actually he was worse than Mikael. He promised to protect and love him always and forever and he didn't. He failed.

Hope was devastated. Her little brother, her twin had left without so much as a goodbye. In her letter, he was basically told to screw off, and that hurt the tribrid. She realized how much their family had screwed him up. They left him out of everything. They forgot him.

Those who had seen Adonis off had tears running down their faces as well. They were a mix of real tears and crocodile tears. They were shattered that he had left but knew it was what was best for him.

"He's gone! It's all my fault! He doesn't know how to use his abilities! He'll be in danger!" Hayley wailed from MJ's arms.

"Freya. Track him now." Klaus growled his hybrid eyes on display.

The Mikaelson witch began a tracking spell using the letters that Adonis had let behind but the map she was using immediately burst into flames.

"He's cloaked." Freya stated.

"Thank you Freya for the statement of something that was so obvious to us." Mary Jane snarked her mantle as the original heretic one slipped slightly.

Freya began a different tracking spell but instead of showing where Adonis was located, it showed where they were located.

Adonis used as many cloaking spells as he could find, including an impenetrable Gemini Coven cloaking spell.

The Mikaelson were determined to find their last member and make things right. While in North Carolina, Adonis and Mimi were getting to know their new family. One that promised not 'Always and Forever' but 'To the Moon and Back.'
