This one shot is inspired by a horror movie. (Pretty obvious by the title). I will tell you which one at the end for those who don't know. :))

Enjoy...

"Alright sir, do you accept our terms?" The man in front of the teenager took a puff of his pipe. The boy nodded. The man raised an eyebrow before nodding. "Alright. You, Miss Lopez, and Mr. Campbell will stay here for three months. I don't know why you still want to be here, but alright."

The adult stood up with a sigh, his chair creaking, and then he shook the teen's hand.

"Thanks sir, it's so nice to let you allow us to watch your hotel over winter break for a while. I think it'd be fun to get away from it all." Jackson Smith smiled charmingly as he shook the man's hand, sealing the deal.

-DAY ONE-

"Wow this place is huge Jack!" Pamela twirled around, looking at the huge lobby of the hotel before flopping onto a velvety couch. "Ooh! This is cozy Jack! Come here! Pamela mused and tugged Jackson's arm, pulling him next to her. "Wow, yeah! This is pretty comfy." Jackson grinned at Pamela before kissing her in the cheek and standing up again.

"I'm going to go write in my diary for a bit. You stay here and make sure Exer doesn't fall out a window or some shit." Jackson told Pamela before walking off. Pamela adjusted her corduroy overalls and forest green turtleneck button up before standing up.

It was a beautiful hotel and was nice and clean. Pamela twirled in a circle, her low ponytail swinging around as she did so. She sighed in ecstasy before walking over to the four huge windows that were visible against the wooden tone of the wall. Her breath fogged against the glass as she stared out into the tree covered mountains, snow dusted on top of the trees like powdered sugar.

"Oh, the hedge maze is beautiful..." She whispered, overtaken by the beauty of it all. This was a great idea Jackson had! The reason they were here was for an extra curricular project for English. Her, Exer, and Jackson had gotten teamed up for a project, but because of personal problems and lack of concentration, they failed it.

Because of this the teacher told them to go study some place and write about it. So here they were, at the Overlook Hotel in the mountains. It was nice and peaceful. Honestly, it was a little too peaceful... It made her uneasy...

-ONE MONTH LATER-

Jackson sat at the table in the lobby, writing in his diary, eyes glued to the pages as he etched words into the pages, page after page. "On a writing streak there?" Jackson jumped in suprise as he felt Pamela lean over his shoulder. She had teased him, joy twinkling in her eyes and a broad smile on her bronzed skin. Jackson blinked and slowly shut the diary.

"Pamela. Honey. Sweetie. Dear. When you hear me writing, don't come in. You ruin my fucking flow! Do you understand?" Jackson snapped, glowering at Pamela, making the poor girl falter. "Oh uhm... Sorry... I'll go Jack..." Pamela murmured, pecking Jackson on the cheek before leaving swiftly.

-MONTH TWO-

Exer wore a red plaid tunic and a rocket cardigan. He was sitting on the floor, reading a Stephen King book before feeling a light tap on his foot. He glanced up from his book to see a pink tennis ball leaning against his foot. He scooped the tennis ball up before standing.
