The party trudged through the decaying woods, looking around for any sign of Ken. They started getting closer to the center of the storm, the wind whipping and sky crashing, getting closer to their designated destination.

As they walked, Jolie thought of what Ken would do in this situation. She glanced around and thought. Well, if he didn't know Brenda got grabbed in, he'd probably go looking for aliens. Wait... They just had to find the most monster infested area, and he'd be there!

"Alright guys, trust me on this, we need to go where the most monsters are, because that's were Ken would go. He loves aliens."
Jolie exclaimed, and once they heard this, they all started scanning the area, searching for signs of Ken or demonic creatures.

Exer shut his eyes, thinking hard. He suddenly pointed sharply, gesturing in southeast direction, almost poking Jackson in the face. "There." Exer muttered before stalking off in that direction. Ronald glanced up as they walked, and he noticed they were moving towards the bloodiest clouds, the deep gray curdling into a churning maroon.

"Center of storm." Ron deadpanned, pointing at the sky. Exer nodded swiftly before leading the group to the eye of the clashing clouds. After several minutes of fighting tooth and nail to get to the middle of the hurricane-like storm, the wind stopped abruptly as they stood in the center.

A broken house was floating, chunks of splintered wood and glass shards slathered with grime hovering ominously above the ground. Fleshy vines crept up the sides of shattered pillars, skeletons and rotting corpses melding into the destruction, becoming one with the rot. Pamela gagged. The stench was horrid.

Jolie and Pam lowered Brenda to the ground and leaned her against the cleanest of the pillars, before following the group. Suddenly fleshy vines shot out of the ground, grappling a few party members and flinging them away. Ken waltzed into the rubble, eyes still maroon, and face still unsmiling.

He raised his arms, as if controlled, which then again, he probably was, and he shot some bricks towards Pamela, who ducked.
David looked around and clawed a smooth stone, before running up and swinging it to smash the small boulder into Ken's side, but the dark haired boy grappled thick branches around David and stuck him to a pillar.

Jackson bolted forward, yanked a demobat out of the air and swing it at Ken, but once again bloodied vines exploded out of the ground, wrapped themselves around his limbs, and pinned him to a pillar. Exer shot his hands out to deflect some of the roots from grappling Pamela, and changed their course for Ken, who dodged.

The raven haired boy stuck both arms out, grabbing Pamela and Ron at the same time, locking them into separate pillars. Now all that was left was Exer, Jolie, and Brenda. Jolie let out a bellow of rage, and actually managed to make it to Ken, tackling him to the ground. Exer took this chance to run up to Ken's face and press his fingers to his temple, trying to remove the corruption when Ken kicked Jolie off of him.

She hit her head on a rock, and with a crack, her eyes shut and she lay unconscious. Brenda could still see her breathing. The redhead scooted behind a pillar, hiding from Ken. She was vitally wounded and didn't know how to help. She could hear Exer and Ken fighting behind her. Suddenly a swoosh, thud, and groan came from behind her hiding spot, and when she peeked out she saw Exer on the ground. His nose was bleeding profusely, and he had a vine impaled through his arm, latching it to the ground.

Ken laughed and sat on the crumbling steps, mocking the group. That's when she realized something. He hadn't seen her. She crawled, wincing behind the objects, trying to be as quiet as possible. She got to the stairs where he couldn't see her, and she could feel her friends eyes on her.

With a jolt, she dived forward and grappled the boy from behind. He tried to turn around, but she held him still, giving Exer enough time to wrench his arm loose. Blood spurted onto the ground, but Exer approched quickly before pressing his hand to Ken's face, and when he retracted it, a dark, sooty dust flew out of his mouth, and Ken's eyes returned to normal.

The vines released everyone, and Ken breathed deeply, confusion in his eyes. After explaining what happened, everyone stood, Brenda got help from Ken, and they made their way back to the entrance. To their surprise, they saw a boy throwing rope up, making a bridge, and when he turned, everyone burt into laughter, other than Jolie, who was still out cold.

It was Timothy, and he had managed to not only make a bridge, but also find his way back.

FIVE MONTHS LATER...
Everyone was laughing around the Christmas tree, hugging and smiling. Jackson and Pamela were laughing, Timothy and Jolie were dancing, Ron was eating all the food, and Exer and David were sitting on the couch, pretty close to each other. Ken and Brenda hovered under the mistletoe, chatting, when Brenda swore she saw a flash of red in his eyes...
