Taylor was elated and as she walked hand in hand back to the car with Travis, the smile on her face couldn't be hidden. With the stress of her new schedule, seeing him had become such a struggle. Even though she had a show on Valentine's Day night, she was free the days prior. Having flown to Kansas City to be with him, she was in a happy place. She would be able to go about the rest of her week, and maybe even month, with a little smile on her face because of the events of today and tonight. "I'm happy I was able to come and see you." She told him, right as they got back to his car. He had his hand on the door, ready to open it for her. He gave her a grin, leaning down to peck her lips quickly.

"I'm glad you could make it time for little ol' me." He told her, putting on a helpless voice, making them both laugh. "Ready for your next, and final, surprise?" She nodded happily. He had been giving her little things ever since he picked her up from the airport early that afternoon.

"Yes." She told him, the smile never leaving her face.

"I have to do one thing before we can go to it though." She gave him a confused look as she tried to search her brain quickly for an explanation, or a guess to what he was about to do.

"What?" She asked.

"i need to blindfold you first." She could tell by the smile on his face that he was excited about whatever was coming next.

"Okay." She was a little hesitant, but of course, she was going to go along with him. She loved and trusted him. There was no reason for her to fear whatever he wanted to do. She watched him open the back door of his car and pull out a bandanna.

"Ready?" She gave him a nod and turned around so that her back was towards him. He wrapped the bandanna around her face and tied it. He opened the car door and helped her in. He pulled the seat belt over her and fastened it. He placed a kiss on her lips once again before he closed the door and walked over to the driver's side of the car and got in. He started the car and pulled out of the parking lot of the restaurant. He reached for her hand and brought it to his lips. "Did I tell you how beautiful you looked tonight?" Travis asked, kissing her hand again.

"Yes, but it doesn't hurt to hear it again." She giggled, feeling his lips against her hand and the car moved along the highway. She was so curious as to where he was taking her and what this next surprise was, but she didn't want to ask what it was. She didn't want any clues. She just wanted to be there already. "How far away do we have to go?"

"Not too far, babe. We should be there in about 5 minutes actually." He told her, kissing her hand once more. She couldn't even explain how much she missed this interaction with him; being in the passenger seat, holding his hand as he drove them to wherever. The rest of the ride was silent as she tried to figure out where exactly they were going. She tried to think about the location they left from and where they were now, thinking about how far they had gone in the time he had been driving. They weren't going back to his place, because they wouldn't be on the highway at the current moment, and his place definitely wasn't five minutes away from that restaurant. She felt the car stop, and she raised an eyebrow. "We're here."

"Are we really?" She asked, a hint of confusion in her voice.

"Yeah." She heard him cut the car's engine and his car door open and close again. It wasn't long before She felt the door on her side open and his hand grabbing her own. She released herself from her seat belt and let him help her out of the car.

"This is so disorienting." She said with a little laugh, trying to find her balance once she stood on what felt like grass beneath her feet.

"Do you want me to carry you?" He asked as he shut the car door.

"Yes, please." She replied. He wrapped an arm around her waist and lifted her up. She wrapped her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist, a sense of security running through her as he began to walk. She listened closely as his footsteps seemed to go from grass to concrete. His footsteps stopped briefly right before she heard the sound of keys moving, and a door opening. He began to move again, and once again she listened to the sounds of his footsteps. The sound went from the sound of foot to pavement to the sound of foot to wood or tile floors. "Babe, where are we?"

"You'll see in a second." He told her right as his footsteps silenced. He loosened his grip around her waist, which was her indication that she could stand on her own again. Once she was on her own two feet, he turned her around to face what he had set up. "Are you ready?"

"Yes." She replied with a smile on her face.

Travis untied the bandanna and removed it from her face. "Happy Valentine's Day." He whispered as her eyes opened. She took in her new surroundings, an empty home with only rose petals in a heart shape in the middle of what was most likely the future living room floor. In the middle of the heart was a teddy bear, holding a box of chocolate and a set of keys.

"Oh my God." She said with a gasp, realizing what all was happening around her. She turned around to face him. "You got the house?!"

"We, we got the house, baby." He corrected. This was theirs. It was something they had talked about, but Taylor had no idea he was actually going through the process of buying them a house to share. She wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Thank you, babe." He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her into him.

"You don't have to say thank you. I know you're busy, so I didn't want you to be stressed, so I did it myself." Taylor couldn't express enough how much she loved and appreciated this man she had found. She couldn't think of anyone who would go through this much trouble just for her.

"I'm going to say it anyway because I love you, and everything you do for me."

"I love you too, baby girl" He had a smile on his face now. The look on his face only reflected the happiness that was on hers. "Go look around and see if you like it." He told her with a laugh. She kissed his lips before she let him go and started off to look at the place they now would call theirs. As she walked around all he could do was stand back and watch her. He watched every face she made as she ran her fingers across every surface possible. All he wanted was for her to be happy, and from the looks of it, he had succeeded.
