"You into musicals?" Gina teased me.
"Nah. But I had this idea, to score back my ex-girlfriend, Nini. She loves musicals, and will obviously be auditioning, so I'm going to too."
"Oh." She nodded, looking a little saddened at my statement.
Why?
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah. Yes, I just think...you should do it for yourself, Ricky. Sorry, if I'm overstepping."
"You're not. But I'm doing this for her. I love her."
"I can tell. And she's...she's lucky to have that. A girl appreciates a big gesture like this, believe me...I know."
"You'll have yours coming." I said, frowning. Gina's beautiful and quite the character. In the BEST way possible. I'm sure she's got plenty of guys drooling over her.
And girls too, to be honest.
"I'll live, Bowen." She said, standing up, and marching off.
"What's that all about? I asked Big Red.
"Take a note, dude. She likes you." He rolled his eyes, leaving too.
And now I'm alone.
Chapter 3! I'm thinking this'll be kind of a short story, 10-20 parts, most likely.
