Akanksha’s POV
Currently sitting at the airport, my fingers tapping against my phone screen. I called Nushkie bhabhi, hoping to get some info, and she told me that the team was practicing nearby. She also dropped the location.

On Call:
“Thank you, bhabhi. I’ll come home after meeting bhaiya... and please don’t tell anyone about my surprise,” I added quickly.

“Ok baba, I won’t do it. And take care,” she replied with a soft laugh.

After the call ended, I got into our car with Sam. Tapu had headed straight to our home.

In the Car:
Sam looked at me, amused.
“Yrr chill, why are you taking stress?”

I scoffed, fidgeting with my bracelet. “I’m not stressed. I’m just... nervous. Y-Yeah.”

“Oh really?” she raised her brow, “Just take a deep breath, okay?”

I nodded. “Okay.”

Moments later, Sam smiled, “See... we’re here.”

My heartbeat quickened as we reached the practice area. I walked in, my sneakers crunching softly against the gravel. As soon as I stepped inside, Ro Bhai spotted me — his eyes widened in surprise, but I quickly signaled him and the others to stay quiet. 🤫

Grinning, I tiptoed behind bhaiya and gently covered his eyes with my hands.

Virat’s POV
I was in full-on captain mode, giving the team some serious instructions (more like a lecture, honestly), when suddenly someone covered my eyes from behind.

These hands… they were too small to be Nushkie’s.

And that scent-Dove soap?

It’s her. My baby. My princess.

“Princess,” I whispered.

End of POV

“Oww bhai!” I gasped. “You guessed too quickly!”

“I missed you, my baby,” Virat said with that familiar warmth, pulling me into a tight hug and lifting me off the ground, spinning me around.

“Bhai, bhai, bhai! Keep me down—ahhh!” I squealed, half-laughing.

“Accha baba, sorry,” he chuckled, setting me back down.

I blinked when I saw his eyes. “Bhai... why are you crying?”

Rohit walked up, ruffling my hair. “Khushi ke aansu hain, pagal! Aur mujhe bhool gayi?”

Rahul, Shreyas, SKY chimed in right behind him. “Aur humein?”

I giggled. “Arre how can I forget my other brothers? Group hug!”

We all squeezed into a big, chaotic group hug, laughter echoing around the field.

After the hug ended, I glanced around. “Waise… ye Ishan kahaan hai?”

“Yahaan,” came a voice from the background.

I turned toward him, and before he could blink, I smacked him on the shoulder. “Kutte! Kamine! Tu ruk, tere wajah se mujhe aur late hua!”

Rohit blinked. “Kya hua?”

SKY folded his arms, knowingly. “Zaroor koi kand kiya hoga.”

I huffed. “Bola tha gadi bhejunga… aur iski gadi ka to ata-pata hi nahi tha land hone ke baad.”

Ishan raised both hands, looking sheepish. “Woh... woh mein—”

“Kya ‘woh mein’?” Virat glared at him.

Another voice piped up from the side,  stifling a laugh. “Bhai... yeh so gaya tha.”

And just like that—amid laughter, chaos, and soft punches—that was the moment we all reunited after four long years.

Flashback
She had stepped out of her room after studying. It was summer vacation, and she had just arrived. As she walked out into the living room, she saw the whole ICT team gathered.

But... there was one unfamiliar face.

“Arre aa gayi? Aaja, baith.” Virat bhai smiled, patting the spot next to him. “Isse mil. Yeh hai Shubham… Shubman Gill. Naya hai.”

She blinked. “Accha… namaste.”

That was it. That exact second—he saw her.

Current
Shubman’s POV

Yrr… it’s her.

She’s gotten more beautiful.

More radiant.

More... everything.

“Oh hii… you’re Shubman, right?” she asked, flashing that familiar soft smile.

Before I could answer, Ishan chimed in like the annoying little brother he was. “Haan, yeh wahi namuna hai.”

“Are ghade, chup baith,” I muttered under my breath, whispering harshly at him.

Akanksha glanced at her phone. “Accha bhai, I’ve to go to Aqua Hospital today only. I have to join. I’ll see you all at home tonight.”

“Arre ghar nahi, aaj toh party hogi,” Rohit grinned.

Sam quickly added, “Thik hai bhai.”

I waved as she began to walk away. “Ok, byee everyone!”

“Byeee!” everyone else chorused.

But me?

I just stood there, still staring.

Still reeling from the feeling of seeing her again.

After all this time.
