ℕ𝕆 longer kept captive in the hospital room. Those white walls and constant beefing of her heart monitor. Estella had been moved, somewhere she would deem a lion's den. President Snow's mansion. She was given her own room, coated in gold and silver underlining. The furniture she could only imagine, a window so big it perches into the ceiling. Chandelier twice in size, sometimes she would imagine what would have happened if it fell on her.

More importantly, President Snow gave her a new 'team.' But to Estella's eyes, there was his spy, dressing her up like a pretty doll, kneading to her every craving and desire. Yet she knew, by the end of the day, these people would go back and report everything, from her pattern breathing to where she was looking to President Snow.

Estella couldn't help but feel a sense of unease in her opulent surroundings. The grandeur of the mansion only served as a stark reminder of her captivity, a gilded cage that masked the true nature of her situation. The constant surveillance weighed heavily on her, as she navigated the treacherous waters of President Snow's world.

Her new "team" consisted of a group of impeccably dressed individuals, each with their own hidden agenda. They moved around her with practiced precision, their smiles masking their true intentions. Estella couldn't shake the feeling that she was nothing more than a pawn in President Snow's game, a tool to be used and discarded at his whim.

Every day, they would meticulously dress her in the finest gowns, adorning her with jewels that sparkled like stars. They would style her hair and apply makeup with such precision that she barely recognized herself in the mirror. It was all part of President Snow's plan to present her as a symbol of his power and control, a puppet to be paraded in front of his loyal subjects.

As she gazes at her reflection in the mirror, Estella observes the flurry of activity behind her as the team prepares her for the presentation to President Snow. With a soft mutter that could barely be heard, "... a snake in a lion's den." Her eyes gleam with an eerie glint, but her stoic expression conceals it well.

Peeking through the drapes, Estella couldn't help but feel the urge to vomit. President Snow was throwing a party in her honor, or so they claimed. She knew better though. There was something more to it, something sinister. Estella was aware that this was all part of their plan, but the real question was how and what exactly?

"Please, smile. Your smile is what captivates your sponsors," one of the prep team whispered in her ear. Estella didn't even bother to acknowledge her, maintaining a stoic expression for a moment before she had to convince herself to play along, at least for now.

The grand reception hosted by President Snow in the Capitol was a spectacle to behold. The opulent venue was adorned with exquisite decorations, sparkling chandeliers, and lavish floral arrangements that filled the air with a sweet, intoxicating fragrance. The room was filled with distinguished guests, politicians, and influential figures from all corners of the nation, eagerly awaiting the arrival of Estella Perez, the esteemed guest of honor.

As Estella reluctantly stepped out from behind the drapes, she was immediately engulfed by a sea of flashing cameras and eager faces. The room was adorned with opulent decorations, sparkling chandeliers, and an array of extravagant delicacies. It was a spectacle designed to dazzle and distract.

Her presence was regal, commanding the attention of all those around her. The elegant dress she wore accentuated her natural grace and beauty, captivating the room. As she entered the grand hall, the sound of applause echoed through the space, a testament to her undeniable allure. Even President Snow himself was drawn to her, extending a warm welcome. The golden silk gown she wore draped over her figure, the off-shoulder strap adding a touch of sophistication to her ensemble. It was a sight to behold, leaving everyone spellbound.

President Snow, a man known for his cunning and manipulative nature, stood at the center of the room, his icy gaze fixed upon her. His smile, though seemingly warm and welcoming, sent shivers down Estella's spine. They maintain eye contact, as he continues his speech of praise of her name echo in the background.

Reaching to his stance, President Snow reach his gloved hand out for her. Fighting back her facial expression, Estella gave a somber smile, a smile you give to your father after waiting for his return. A smile to fool the media of her bond with him. Pulling her to his side, they both moved their body attention to the crowd before them.

President Snow's simple finger raise silenced the cheers and flashing lights that could blind and deafen anyone's ears. Avox stood by, offering Estella a glass of champagne while avoiding eye contact. As President Snow raised his glass, he commanded everyone to do the same. His eyes then locked onto Estella as he proclaimed, "To our, be love Estella Perez. The Victor for not one! But two, 74th and 75th Hunger Game! The Capitol's beauty and grace.-"

President Snow gently ran his hand through Estella's hair, his once proud eyes now filled with darkness and determination as he delivered his speech. "The one... who will put an end to this rebellion. Welcome home," he said, gripping her shoulder tightly, though it appeared innocent to those around them.

The crowd erupted in cheers and applause as if their savior had returned, while Estella maintained unwavering eye contact with President Snow, who sipped his champagne with a sinister smile. A wave of fear washed over Estella at the mention of rebellion. "... great," she thought to herself.

President Snow arched an eyebrow, seemingly anticipating her response. Estella's gaze shifted downwards, fixating on the ring adorning her finger, a gift from Aries. Her eyes flickered with curiosity as she pondered how long it had been there, unnoticed. After a brief moment of contemplation, she lifted her glass, toasting and expressing her agreement with his speech. As she took a sip, a wave of jubilant cheers erupted from the Capitol, accompanied by President Snow's approval.
