After 2 days I received a call from Rowan saying that his family wanted to meet me tonight and they arranged a small dinner for us. He was told about this 2 days before right away from the press but he didn't even tell me when I asked him he just said that he forgot. Oh Jesus how I am going to live with him. The only thing I was nervous about was Richy cause I don't know how they're gonna react to him Iam just scared about the way they will treat him. In the afternoon at 3 pm I received an email which was a box that was delivered to my office and Lily delivered it to my cabin. When I looked at the address, it was from Mr Iceberg. I opened it and saw there was a beautiful dress and for some reason I felt like the dress was meant for me. It was a formal dress. At 4.30 pm Rowan texted me saying that he will pick me and Richy up. So I went home to get ready. At 5.30pm I heard an honk sound which indicated that Rowan was out there waiting for me in his car. I took Richy in arms and plunged myself into the car and when I turned around after locking the door, I saw Rowan looking handsome and I didn't realise I was checking him out. We were matching clothes with same colour and the only thing we both had in common was that both of us favourite colour was black.
Within 30minutes we arrived and I was hella nervous but again Rowan was there to sooth me.
We reached the doorstep with Richy holding my fingers securely as if I was gonna leave him here.
We fixed our dress and knocked the door and a beautiful woman opened the door and she very resembled Rowan. Both had that grey eyes. She soon welcomed us with hug. "Hi sister in law, Iam Clara sister of this dumbo" she said and I chuckled at her statement and I realised that Rowan was giving her a death glare. Soon clara's eyes fell on Richy who was hiding behind me "Hi champ don't be afraid I won't eat you and iam your hot aunt" she said with flipping her hair like she was proud but still he was afraid. But i don't know what happened to him that he promised to become her friend after she whispered something in his ears. Soon within few minutes they acted like they were best buddies and those two were playing lava on the floor. I felt relieved that Richy was now getting comfortable. We were also welcomed with his parents and grandmother who were really sweet to me. I told them about Richy to them and they didn't seem to have a problem with it "Look sweetheart, he is like our grandson so we will shower him with love" Rowan's mother said "Thank you" i told her with happiness. After a few hours of getting together with his family, I got to know how sweet they were and Rowan was a submissive here in his family which was quite surprised. His grandmother called me to have a private talk with him and I looked into Rowan's eyes and he told me to go. "Don't worry I won't eat your fiance" his grandmother said and to which all chuckled .
Now it was me and his grandma who was alone "Sweetheart I just wanna ask you a kind request" she said "Sure grandma whatever you ask" i said with geniune "My grandson has gone through a lot in his early stages and he never got love from his parents due to their work and his ex cheated him and he started to believe that there was no love in this world so though you are is your starting point of your relationship I hope you give him the love he deserves and just tolerate him but deep dow he is really a good and loving person" she said with concern "I really love him grandma and I won't give up on him" I don't know why I said I was like saying the fucking truth "I know and I can see it" she teased me I blushed to her statement "Don't worry Richy and you are one of my family" she blurted out "Thanks" We went out and saw that the whole family was waiting for us at the dining table and i could find Richy with giggles and he was happy with everyone and I was glee about it. When they spotted us, Clara spoke "I thought you would take a decade and what you guys were talking" she said with a hint of curiosity "Secrets" grandma replied "Fine"
After that I went and sat next to him and the dinner passed happily and during the dinner they asked us a few questions like how we fell in love?, how did Rowan proposed etc..
It was night 11pm and they wanted us to stay badly but since we both had meetings we had to leave and we promised that we will stay next time
With this we both dived into the car and richy was already sleeping in my arms.
"So what did my grandma say to you" he asked me "She asked me to promise to love you no matter what" I said He just mouthed oh "You never told me you had an ex" I asked him
When I told him, he tightened his grip on the steering wheel.
"Was she beautiful" I asked him "It's none of your business and who you are to meddle with my past life just remember where you stand and you will always be my contact wife." I flinched at him and stayed silent the whole ride and my heart was throbbing with pain with the words he said to me. That's good of him to remind me what I am to him.
Though I knew I was just his fake wife but still I was falling for him.
After a silent ride we reached my home and without having any conversation i exited the car and emerged into my home.
