Hinata sighed as Hamura showed her around the village, though with how small it was, it wouldn't even be considered one.

Then again it was to be expected, she was not on Earth anymore. According to Hamura she was on the moon. How? She had no clue, but here she was, walking on the moon, the home of the Otsutsuki clan since centuries back. Hinata genuinely couldn't even comprehend how it was possible? Much less how people were able to build and have their own home, on the moon. She wasn't the most brilliant child out there, but she knew the moon and Earth were two different things, and building homes should have been impossible on the moon.

Hinata had been gobsmacked for a while at Hamura's simple and straight to the point explanation that she was on the moon and the reason they could live here was because the Otsutsuki clan were basically millennial year old horned creatures that could travel planet to planet.

It didn't end there, there seemed to be more to it, but Hinata couldn't even comprehend most of it. Hamura obviously noticed that so he decided to stop talking about it, simply telling her that she'd learn more during her stay here. When she heard that Hinata couldn't help but observe Hamura more. She wanted to ask what happened back home? She wanted to ask why they chose her? She also wanted to ask when she could get back home?

However, instinct held her back as she held onto Hamura's words that she would know everything in due time, though she still wondered why she trusted his word so much. Instead of dwelling on it, Hinata decided to continue observing the beautiful landscape of the village even though her heart was in turmoil.

The village was incredibly small and the population was even smaller. Moreover, the Otsutsuki clan didn't just consist of white haired or blue haired, there were some who leaned more on the Uchiha side so they had black hair. However, apparently the more you leaned on one particular clan, meaning a half blood or anything not pure blooded, you wouldn't have the horns nor the third eyes anymore and you wouldn't be called an Otsutsuki anymore.

This explained a lot about Indra, which reminded Hinata of the fact that she hadn't seen this other kidnapper of hers. Hinata really wanted to know where he was and exactly what happened when she had passed out, though she assumed, he wouldn't really say anything and she would likely not approach him considering he probably got his memories back. That thought made her smile turn even dimmer.

It didn't help that Hamura was unlikely to tell Hinata where the man was, and quite frankly Hinata didn't want to ask anymore because walking around the village was emotionally vexing for some reason.

It didn't make sense, because she was excited to observe more of this place before, especially the garden, and yet now, her heart was so heavy. It was like someone was cutting her heart open and letting her bleed. She couldn't understand it, how could she feel pain for a place she barely knew. It was uncomfortable and it sucked any joy and any form of excitement. Hinata couldn't help but frown, not realizing that Hamura was taking in all her emotions.

He could observe how confused yet tangled she seemed to be, and he assumed it was probably because the original host's feelings were in the way. Incarnation was simply the replication of spirit and flesh. It happened because of a job undone, for example, Indra and Ashura would always be reincarnated because of their hatred and resentment which was passed down from clan to clan until it reached the chosen ones who were to bear the curse of being the hosts, Uchiha Madara, Senju Hashirama and presently Uchiha Sasuke and Uzumaki Naruto.

Then the second and most common type of incarnation which was for example him. Hamura had not served his purpose therefore his will had to be carried out through incarnation. However, Hamura was never a fan of incarnation, he wanted to die in peace, but of course he couldn't change the way the world worked so he would rather complete his purpose himself than send his chakra away to his incarnate. Fortunately the anomaly named Hinata had appeared and he could now complete his purpose.
