Many years has passed for Y/n. He uses the time to study in the local library and even hang out with Toru when they have nothing to do. Simply put, its a universal thing as Elves, Dark Elves, Dwarves and many more can get it after they pass 12 years old/ This was given by the gods who gives a role suitable for the person as it either can help defeat evil or help the heroes or help their kingdom
No idea why it has to be past 12 years old but regardless, it doesn't matter.
Nei's role was a Warrior, Soara was a priestess and Lisa was a witch.
As for Toru, his a warrior.... And for Y/n.... It was different
Instead of it being "Hero" like it was suppose to, it said "Dark Slayer'
This made Y/n alot more confused but he shrugs it off. He will do more research on that later
Right now, his dueling Toru and by far. They have different styles of fighting
Toru likes to use Greatswords while Y/n uses straight swords. There are also guns but pistols seems to fit well
Toru clashes with Y/n as they were struggling to push each other back
Y/n: Heh! Keep trying bud!
Toru: I will!
Y/n manages to slip out of Toru's grip as he kicks Toru away. Toru falls back as it settles the duel. Y/n chuckles a little before holstering his sword and walking to Toru
Y/n: Nice strength. But focus more on your skills
Y/n says as he helps Toru up as he sighs in defeat
Toru: Yes Master.... Pfft
Toru laughs as Y/n laughs along with him. For the past few years, Y/n really did like Toru and he did see him as a best friend

Soara walks past Y/n, ignoring him as she walks to Toru. Followed by the other two. Y/n sighs as he steps back and watches as they surround Toru. He smiles as he sees that Toru was a blushing mess
His smile drops as he then got a notification of a new power. The one where he swore he won't use
