THE OLD POWERS

Opening : Before spirits and demons dwelled the earth  , long before Yung (the boundary between the  afterlife and the living world) were established , etheral entities existed in the world known as the Old  Powers. The Old  Powers monitored the world , restricted themselves in meddling with human affairs .

However As the akgwi(evil spirits) began to multiply and create chaos amongst humans , the Old Powers created Yung to which selected good  spirits who were responsible to bond with a human known as a counter were to  fight the evil spirits who looked for malevolent hosts. Thus, the Yung counters were formed.
  
            To aid the Yung and their counters , The Old Powers decided to delegate a few of their own  to select and bond with  suitable human hosts - variations of the  Yung counters but stronger and more enhanced. These  divine counters of the Old Powers were called avatars. Avatars because they were the human hosts of their bonded divine being giving the Old Powers the chance to possess their avatars when need be.

             To equally strength the Yung and Divine counters, the remaining Old Powers  who hadn't bonded humans and didn't have avatars on earth  decided to shape a power source that would boost the ablities  of both counters. This power source would randomly open up whenever the energies of the Divine and The Human realms crossed. This power supply would later be refered to by the Yung spirits as the Territory.

                      After creating the Territory and advancing towards  modern times  the Old Powers became inactive owing to unknown reasons.

                 The Old Powers who were delegated on Earth, those who had avatars ,  still remain  bonding with hosts to fight the demons and malicious spirits .

            Over the years , of all divine counters to ever exist  , Park So-nam was discovered to be the first divine counter to ever summon evil spirits , a trait classified as a Yung ability , he also developed the ability to channel from the Territory and was unable to be fully posseessed by his divine partner instead he could reach an alteration of his avatar mode. Park So-nam became the first and only uncanny divine counter.

       This is the story of the uncanny divine counter and the other avatars of Old Powers he was to meet along with his Yung friends . A story between two different variations of counters , the Yung and Divine counters.....
