Amelia's POV
Elijah knocked on her open door, his lean body leaning against the wall. Davinas face grew with a smile as she saw Elijah standing there with his promise intact.
"I made you a promise." Elijah stated sweetly as he held up the spells in his hand.
"Come in." Davina smiled towards him.
We both stepped in, her eyes falling dark as she noticed me behind him. Her lips pressed into a flat line, she may have agreed to me helping her but it was obvious she hated me.
"Davina, this is Amelia Mikealson." Elijah stated as he tried to cut the angry tension vibrating off of her. "I know you two have had a rocky start but Amelia here is the strongest and most powerful witch. She can help."
"You were just protecting your husband. I understand." Davina said softly her eyes softening around the edges.
I shook my head a small laugh escaping through my lips. "Ex husband." I corrected. "Let's get started." I finished, not wanting to talk about Klaus.
Elijah nodded his head as he unraveled the pages and gently placed them onto Davinas desk. She walked over and quietly read it for a moment before snapping her head up and looking at the two of us like we were crazy.
"The spell of unknotting?" She asked confused.
I held up the black knot I had in my hand, showing her the knotted rope. "This is a sanguinem knot. We use it as a representational magic. If you can unknot this rope using that spell you'll have taken an important step towards control."
Davina looked up at me unsure, the spell almost seemed too easy. Although it wasn't, the knot is difficult to unknot without anger and impatience. It's a test on a witch to see how much she can control her magic without her emotions in the way.
What she doesn't know is that it's also the spell to unlink Sophie and Hayley.
"This is a later spell. It requires much more power than you realize." I spoke as I placed the knot on the desk.
"Now if you can preform this, I shall return with another page." Elijah spoke a small smile on his lips.
Elijah motioned his head towards the door. I nodded back as we both started to leave the room, before Elijah turned back around.
"A spell of your choosing next time." Elijah said matter of factly.
"Wait! Amelia?" Davina said right before Elijah and I reached the door. "Which witch line do you come from?"
I smiled as I looked back at her. "The Wrights." I said before turning down the hallway and leaving.
"What's wrong?" I asked quietly as I approached Klaus in the upstairs hallway of the church.
His face was drawn with worry as he started down at the church below us. He shook his head as he looked over at me, the worry disappearing from his face.
"Nothing." He stated. "Are you guys done?" He asked as he watched Elijah walk up behind me.
I drew my eyebrows in at his sudden change. His ability to quickly change his face from worry to nonchalant. "Seriously Lia, nothing is wrong." He reassured as he saw my confusion.
My phone vibrated in my pocket. I didn't say anything as I looked between the two of them and answered the phone call from Rebekah.
"Go check on Sophie, something is wrong." Rebekah said urgently over the phone.
"What happened?" I questioned as Elijah's eyes grew with worry and Klaus's grew with anger.
"Something was injected into Sophie's neck and now Hayley." Rebekah finished.
