Amelia's POV

"I'm not just going to give them the stake." Davina scoffed towards Marcel. "The originals are monsters." She hissed.

"Monsters is a bit dramatic." I clapped my hands together as we walked into Marcels place. We were hiding out as we waited for Davina, completely ignoring Marcels orders.

"She's not exactly wrong." Elijah joked with me as he walked in behind me. Davina snapped her head towards us, her face growing with disgust as she looked at the two of us. "But we both want it for the same reason Davina, we want to protect our family while you want to protect your friends." Elijah explained.

"No." Davina spoke with that young attitude. "No, I'm done listening." She scoffed as she walked over to us like we weren't a threat. "You guys manipulate and kill anyone who gets in your way, you don't deserve the stake." She smirked before pushing past us and leaving.

My eyes went wide as I realized what had just happened, all the pieces of the puzzle falling into place. She knows where the white oak stake is because it's in her possession, that little smart brat.

Elijah had the same thought as he snapped his head to me both us understanding one another. "She has the stake." Elijah smirked, knowing he was right.

"How do you know?" Marcel asked.

"Because she would've found the stake if she knew you were in danger." I explained. "But if it's in her hands she knows it won't be used, therefore your life is still in tact unfortunately." I sighed as I looked at Marcel who just rolled his eyes at my comment.

"Maybe I should tell her to use it on you instead." Marcel bit back his eyes sparking with amusement.

"No one will be using the white oak stake." Elijah ordered becoming annoyed with our bickering. "One way or another Davina will comply and hand off the white oak stake." He said.

Marcel scoffed, rubbing a hand over his mouth. "Do you two ever wonder why your family has so many enemies?" He asked us but I felt he already had an answer made up in his head. "It's because you making stupid decisions like this, it really makes me wonder how the hell I survived all of you." He spat.

1800's

"What the bloody hell did I tell you?" I yelled towards Kol. "He is a child!" I growled towards him.

"You know out of everyone I didn't think it would be you that would choose Marcellus over me." Kol narrowed his eyes, thinking I have betrayed him.

"Kol-" I gave a large tired sigh. "-I'm not choosing him over you, you are my best friend but he is only fourteen years old." I said softly. Yelling at Kol never worked, he needed you to be understanding in order for him to listen.

"I've been daggered in a box while you three take care of someone you barely know!" He yelled, his eyes brimming with fire.

"Don't yell at me for your brother's decisions." I said calmly, not matching his anger. "Niklaus wouldn't tell me where your coffin was placed because he knew I would've woken you up." I said truthfully. "But Marcellus is a child, while you are not. He needs to be taken care of." I spoke in a delicate tone.

*Present time*

"We understand your suspicion and Davinas." Elijah spoke, taking me out of my memory. "But that does not alter our dilemma. She has that stake and we want it back." He rolled his lips together.

My phone rang, snapping all of us out of the conversation as I pulled it out of my pocket. "One moment." I said as I saw Klaus's name on the screen.
