After an hour everyone was in their hotel rooms and were getting ready for the concert and the band finally got their new road crew help
Ray went over the rules with them and had them all set
Just DeShaun and Marshall shared a room this time and DeShaun decided to confront Marshall about Aaliyah
(Marshall and DeShaun POV)
"Hey man, what's going on between you and Aaliyah?" DeShaun asked
"What do you mean?" Marshall replied, Marshall knew what DeShaun was talking about he just didn't want to say too much
"Come on man, don't act dumb with me, I saw you guys kiss for crying out loud, Don't worry I'm not gonna say anything"
"I know man, your cool" Marshall replied
"But you know if this gets out, you're in trouble, you know Anthony ain't gonna like it, especially a guy like you"

"What do you mean a guy like me?" Marshall asked
"Em, come on you're homeboy right? Friends to the end but we're rappers, I mean Proof and Eminem biggest playboys in hollywood and we both know what kind of girls you like that's why I was so caught off guard, I mean if it was some random homewrecker whore I wouldn't have cared but seeing you with Aaliyah that kinda weirded me out" DeShaun explained
"Yeah, I don't know man, something about her makes me feel different I just can't really explain the feeling but I'm scared that she's gonna feel the same"

"Cause she deserves the best guy in the whole world, not some trashy white boy like me, but I can't help but think about her"
"You're in love with her, aren't you?" DeShaun asked, then Marshall nodded his head not really knowing what to say

"So aaliyah what songs are you gonna sing?" Whitney asked

"Okay that sounds cool, which ones?" Whitney asked
"Breathe again and Un-break my heart" aaliyah replied
"That's good, they sound very R&Bish so I'm sure dad's not gonna say no" Ray said
After awhile Aaliyah started to think about the kiss with Marshall and wondered if he really liked her
So she needed some help to find out
"Hey Ray? Could you do something for me" aaliyah asked
"Sure, what's up?"
"Could you find out if Marshall likes me?"
"What?" Ray suspiciously asked
"I just wanna know if Marshall likes me that's all"
"Aaliyah I can see where this is gonna go and if dad finds out he's not gonna fire you" Ray exclaimed
"Aaliyah, don't do it okay? He's not even worth it okay?" Whitney added
"I know I just wanna know that's all, I know me and him can't be together"
"Come on Aaliyah what are we in high-school?" Ray sarcastically asked
"Well I don't know I never really been to high-school" aaliyah sarcastically replied back
"Fine" Ray said
"what!?" Whitney exclaimed
"Look Whitney she's gonna be 17 next week we need to let her experience these kind of things plus she knows that they cant date, i'm sure this is all just a random harmless crush"
Whitney agreed and they continued their day
