Emily slowly regains consciousness, her surroundings coming into focus. Bound to a chair, fear and confusion cloud her senses. The muted sounds of the group in the other room reach her ears as she attempts to scream through the cloth covering her mouth.

Lily, with an air of determination, strides toward Emily. She removes the cloth, revealing a mixture of defiance and disdain in Emily's eyes.

Lily: What do you know? Spit it out.

Emily remains silent, her eyes locking onto Lily's challenging gaze. In an act of defiance, she spits in Lily's face. Lily, incensed, retaliates with a sharp slap, the echo reverberating in the tense atmosphere.

Lily: (angry) You think this is a game, Emily?

The room becomes charged with tension as the confrontation intensifies. Jake intervenes, pulling Lily away.

Jake: (gruffly) Calm down, Lily. We need to figure this out.

Daniel approaches, a strange softness in his voice and touch. He removes the cloth covering Emily's mouth, his gaze fixed on her tear-filled eyes.

Daniel: Emily, we don't want to hurt you. Just tell us what you know.

In the background, Jessica disrupts the moment, accusing Daniel of flirting with Emily.

Jessica: (accusing) Daniel, seriously? Now?

Jessica brandishes the gun Emily brought, heightening the tension in the room. Emily, staring directly at Daniel, confesses what she knows—her suspicion that Daniel and Jake orchestrated the hooded person acts and may have a connection to the murders.

Emily: I saw you and Jake at the hospital. You can't deny it.

Daniel, visibly shaken, denies any involvement in the killings but admits to framing Emily.

Daniel: (confessing) We did it to stop the hooded person acts. But when the murders happened, we had to come up with a plan to frame you.

Emily, amidst disbelief and tears, challenges Daniel about his next move.

Emily: (sarcastically) So, what's your grand plan now, Daniel?

Surprisingly, Daniel announces that he intends to let her go, leaving the group in stunned silence, their intertwined fates hanging by a thread.
