When the world calls you star...
I know, I know I know you're so far...
Yet someday I wanna reach out to you,
Yet someday cup your face in my palms.

When the world calls you star,
I know I know I know, you'll never be mine.
Yet somehow I wish to be by your side.
Yet someday I want to bask in your shine

And the world may call you star,
And my head states your so far,
Of my reach.
But within my heart when I seek,
I find you there smiling at me.

The world may call me star,
But they don't know, beneath my glow,
I've hidden my scars,
The world may call me a king,
But they don't know
Living in this dream, How lonely I have been.

I confess I'm no star, I confess I'm no queen
I'm just another girl, who longs for you in her dreams.
I am no epitome of beauty, I'm certainly devoid of charms,
I can only offer you little comfort, soothing words and my arms.

Then shield me from this world,
of fakery and shine,
Then steal me from this world,
Come let yourself be mine.

I don't doubt my self worth,
But will I ever be enough?
I love you, but can I trust you,
What if all of this is a bluff?

believe in me, I can slay dragons at your feet,
Hasn't everyone else said the same thing?
Believe in me, I will never let you cry,
Is that a garauntee? You can as so much only try.
Then if tears comes in your eyes, I'll cry along with you,
together we'll thatch the skies,
paint it of sunshine and hues.
Together We'll tackle the demons,
Together we'll start anew...

Its hard to believe, out of everyone else you want me,
I'm sure there are other girls certainly better than me,
I'm sure you'd find another star like you,
I don't think stars matter,
Its not them I love,
Its you!

But the world calls you star...
The world forgets, how insignificant they are,
Stars may shine,
But its the Sun who dazzles,
Stars are pretty, but the sun gives light.
And those cold bleary hearts, The Sun keeps warm,
And such a Sun I have in my arms...

I love you my sunshine, I'll love you till the end.
Together we'll have forever,
Together we'll make amends.

I love you too,
Just so you know,
I'll never let you be alone
I'll follow wherever you go

When the world calls you star,
I'll let them know, I have your heart.
The world which calls me star,
Should know, its you, to whom I lost my heart.
