Simba and Kion must've passed out in the desert, cause when they woke up they were with a meerkat and a warthog. "Hey, kids, you okay?" Asks the meerkat. "Yeah..." says Simba sadly. Kion was shy around these new animals. Simba walked away. Kion's ears flattened as he thought about earlier.
"Kids? You okay? Is he okay?" Asks the meerkat, as he turns toward Kion for the last question. "No... we lost our dad earlier..." reveals Kion. "Huh," says the meerkat in realization. The meerkat and warthog talk about how you can't change the past. They sing a song called "Hakuna Matata."
