Todays Jacks birthday and I have to buy him a gift this morning before we see him in the evening
I went to Sephora and got him the cologne set, it had 7 colognes that he could try
When I got back home Kayla was putting her gift in a bag and making it pretty
I did the same and then the two of us went to get ready
I put on a black bodysuit and dark denim jeans with a small closed toe black heel and some nice jewelry

We're leaving now
Reservations at 6:30

Ok I'm pretty much ready

Ok we'll be there soon

Ur soon is like 2 hours

I shook my head putting my phone away as Kayla locked our door and we went down to my car
We made it there in half an hour and went to the boys apartment
Jack opened the door
"Happy Birthday!" Kayla and I exclaimed "thank you" he chuckled a little giving us both hugs as we walked in
we took our shoes off then put our gifts on the floor next to the couch
I sat next to Luke
"Hey Rosie" he smiled over at me "hey Lukey" I replied and he put his arm around me and I leaned into him
The four of us talked for about half an hour before we had to leave
At dinner I sat next to Luke as well and we all continued to joke and talk
"Oh yeah, do you guys wanna come to our lake house this summer?" Jack asked "sure!" Kayla answered "Trin?" Jack turned to me "yeah I have to check with my mom but I'll come" I nodded with a small smile
"You'll get to see Quinn and meet our parents there" Luke told us
Kayla looked at Jack next to her a little nervously when parents were brought up, Luke and I gave eachother a little look that said "what's going on between these two"
"we can go boating, wake boarding, water skiing, tubing, tennis, hockey, whatever" Luke listed
"That sounds fun" I smiled "yeah. Trin you're good at tennis" Kayla said "I guess, I used to play a lot when I was in high school but not really since I graduated" i explained shrugging
After dinner we went to the boy's apartment Jack opened his gifts from the two of us
Again I sat next to Luke with his arm around me and leaning into him
"You sayin I stink Trin?" Jack joked "yeah" I replied sarcastically and he laughed a little "thank you" he smiled putting the gift down "no problem" I replied returning the smile
Kayla got him Nike crewneck sweatshirts and a matching bracelet for the two of them
Luke and I shared the same look again after seeing that
"Are you guys dating?" I asked the two of them "why" Kayla asked back
"At the restaurant you looked nervous that we were meeting their parents which would be weird if you guys were just friends and the matching bracelets? Kinda couple-y" I told her and she looked over at Jack
"K fine we're dating" she sighed and I smiled really wide "aww you guys are cute" I told them and they thanked me
"Are you two dating" Kayla asked and the two of us shook out heads no at the same time "we're not dating" I told them
They looked at eachother like they didn't believe us
"Don't you think we would've told you if we were dating?" Luke asked the two of them and they shrugged "we didn't" Jack added "we're not you" I replied "we didn't wanna ruin anything if we broke up, we've only been dating like two weeks" Kayla told us
"Oh yeah! I'm staying here tonight" Kayla told me and I looked up at Luke and his face looked a little concerned after the information he had received 2 minutes prior
"It's ok Luke and I will just have a slumber party at our place" I smiled at the two of them and Luke let out a breath
It's was almost 8 "we should probably go soon" I told Luke "ok I'll just get my stuff and we can go" he said getting up
I waited for him on the couch talking to my friends
When he came back we said bye and went to my apartment
"I've never been here before" Luke says as we walked in "yeah we usually go to your place, but you guys can come here anytime" I told him
We put on a movie but didn't really watch the movie we were talking
"Do you wanna go out with me sometime" Luke asks mid-conversation "like on a date?" I questioned growing a wide smile "yeah" he answered a little awkwardly "yeah I'd love to" I answered and he returned my smile looking relieved
"You're so cute" I moved over to him and he smiled big wrapping his arms around me pulling me into a hug on top of him
"when are we going on this date Mr. Hughes" I asked "wanna go Tuesday?" He suggested "sure" I smiled looking down at him "ok, wanna go mini golfing?" He suggested "yes I love mini golf" I told him "ok then we'll go mini golfing" he told me rubbing my arms
I don't wanna have to go on a date to be his girlfriend I wish he would just ask already
It's been a month, we hang out all the time, we text call snap whatever 24/7 I think I've made it a little obvious I like him
And now he asked me out on a date so I know he likes me back so why doesn't he just ask me already
We made popcorn and got snacks out of the cabinets and got a blanket out of my room and pillows
We set it up in the couch, put on a movie, then ended up falling asleep together
