"I come to where you at"
Trinity's pov
August 2 2023
I made it to the airport and Quinn came to pick me up
"Hey Quinny" I smiled getting into the car putting on my seatbelt "Hey Trin" he smiled over at me and I thanked him for driving me
The two of us talked for a while on the way to their lake house
When we made it there Quinn insisted on bringing my bag in and I thanked him then I went upstairs and knocked on Luke's door
"Come in" he called and I opened the door "Trinity" he said puttting his phone down just looking at me surprised
"Heyyyy" I dragged out walking over to his bed, he pulled me on top of him
I sighed and fixed myself so I wasn't hurting him first of all and so I wasn't uncomfortable
I moved my legs so they straddled his waist
"I thought you couldn't come" he said to me "I said I might not be able to come" I retorted looking down at him with my hands cupping his face
I gave him a quick kiss but he leaned in for another this one I wouldn't consider a kiss but something longer and a little heated
This went on for a loooong time until we heard a knock on the door
Luke groaned and I got off him "come in" Luke sighed and Jack opened the door
"Trin? When did you get here" Jack asked "hey Jack nice to see you too" I replied "hi, me and Kayla were gonna go to the country club for brunch do you guys wanna come?" Jack asked and I looked over at Luke
He had a "not really" expression probably wanting to finish what we started
"Did I interrupt something?" Jack asks seeing Luke's face "nope, we'll be down in a minute" I told Jack and he narrowed his eyes saying ok and leaving the room
Luke looked over at me and I just smiled at him "let's go Lukey, we can finish this later" I told him getting up
I had to pull him up from the bed and we went down
It was just the four of us that were going to eat
When Kayla saw me she gave me the biggest hug and we sat together on the boat talking and laughing having our own conversation separate from the boys
When we got there we sat at a table and ordered brunch items
We were gonna do a challenge or something that we wouldn't have to show me and Luke interacting
After brunch Luke and I went upstairs to his room and sat on his bed
"Tomorrow my friends are coming over wanna meet them?" He asked me "yeah but I probably won't be with you guys for long. Maybe me and Kayla will film tomorrow then" I replied "why don't you wanna hang out with us" he asked me
"Uhh cause I dont know them" I replied "so?" he retorted "so I'd rather say hi then go hang out with my own friend" I explained "rude" he told me "do you really want me to stay with you guys? That's so awkward, you guys are gonna be doing your guy thing and I'm just gonna be standing there like a goof" I sighed
"I guess" he shugged "Luke" I groaned "it's fine don't come" he told me laying down
I looked at him and he put one arm out and gave me a "come here" motion with his hand
I laid next to him and put his arm around me hugging me
We stayed like that for a while and then he pulled me on top of him again
I went back into the same position I was in last time and we started kissing again
But for the second time today we heard a knock on the door
Luke groaned again and I tried to get off him but he put his hand on my waist keeping me on him
"What do you need?" He called out "what're you guys naked or something" we heard Kayla say
"Come in" Luke sighed and she opened the door
"Oh you guys were about to do something, I can come back" she said "no moments passed what's up?" I asked her "I just needed help with YouTube stuff" she said and I got up from Luke
He put the blanket over himself as soon as I got up
"What is this really about?" I asked her once we got to her and Jacks room
"Have you seen the comments on like 90% of my posts since me and Jack went public" she asked me with a kinda sad but kinda anxious look
"No? What's wrong" I asked, she pulled up her instagram and one post alone had at least 100 comments saying how Jack is way out of her league and he deserves better and pretty much just shitting on her
"You know that's not true right?" I asked her "I don't know, it's kinda hard to ignore when it's almost every comment" she sighed "maybe turn off your comments for now, trust me these comments are not true. These people don't even know you, you and Jack know yourselves and that's what matters" I explained to her
"I guess" she shrugged "did you bring it up to Jack" I asked her "no" she replied "try talking to him about it, he's the only opinion that matters in this situation" I told her "ok" she replied
She thanked me and I went back to Luke's room
"What was that about" he asked me looking up from his phone "we are never going public" I replied
He looked at me confused "I feel bad for Kayla, she's getting so much hate from people because she's dating Jack. I don't think I could deal if we told people and that happened to me" I told him
"What do you mean?" He asked "like people are saying stuff about how she looks and how Jack might look better than her to them and stuff about her personality and how Jack deserves someone better and hockey guys that follow Jack calling her a pigeon, it's a lot, I could not deal with that" I spoke really fast
"Trinity you're not gonna get called a pigeon or ugly or anything bad about how you act" he shook his head at me "if anything it would be me getting things said about" he added "yeah right, you're so cutie and you're funny and you're the sweetest person I know, and who cares what other people think you're mine " I told him and he smiled at me a little
"Wanna make out now" he asked me and I laughed a little going over to him
