Today me and Luke are going on a date
I've been going in and out of my room showing Kayla different outfits trying to make sure I looked perfect
I came out with Jean shorts a pink fitted cropped top and white Air Force ones
"No lame. that's super boring add accessories or like wear blue it makes your eyes pop or green it goes with your skin" she told me and I sighed going back into my room
I pulled out these white sweat shorts a fitted green top a silver charm bracelet a white cap my converse and mini hoop earrings
I opened the door and Kayla looked up from her phone at me "yes, wear that you look so good" she nodded and I smiled "thank you Kay" I smiled
"I have to drive to Jersey and then Luke's gonna drive us to the mini golf" I told Kayla fixing my makeup in the bathroom before I left
"Ok but also like don't worry it's just luke" she told me "yeah to you" I sighed "I'm always kinda awkward and nervous around him, now it's a date im gonna be worse" I told her "he's always awkward and nervous around you" she replied
She was right but I think it's cute, his little smile when I do the smallest little thing, or his awkward jokes that still make me laugh, or when he compliments me but he gets all nervous if I say anything back
"Trin you're stressing over nothing, you're both awkward messes but you both like that about each other, you might like things about him that he gets embarrassed by but he probably thinks the same for you" she explained once I was finally done getting ready
"You think?" I questioned "I know, trust me you'll be fine"
With that I said bye and drove to the boys apartment
When I got there Luke came down so I didn't have to go all the way up to their place and then all the way back down
"Hey" I smiled up at him once he came
I was already sweating "hey, you look beautiful" he told me and I felt a blush spread across my cheeks "thank you, you look good too" I answered and his cheeks turned pinky too
The two of us walked to his car and we drove to the mini putt place
Once we started playing It felt like he was letting me win
and of course at the end I won
It was kinda cute that he let me win but it would've been nice if he tried at least a little bit
We were walking and Luke grabs my hand, my pursed my lips together holding a smile looking at the ground
"What do you wanna do now?" Luke asked me "I don't know, the suns gonna set soon" I told him swinging our hands as we walked "wanna go to the beach?" He asked me "sure" I shrugged and started to swing our hands as we approached the car
On our drive there we were singing and laughing and talking
I was looking out the window while the music played and neither of us were talking, Luke reached over and grabbed my hand intertwining our fingers
He didn't look over at me he just kept looking straight and I was blushing so bad
We made it to the beach and the sun was starting to set
He parked and the two of us walked down to the beach
There weren't many people there only a few families, we both took off our shoes and walked up and down the beach in the sand watching the sunset
"Thank you" I said after we decided to sit on rocks facing the water "for what" Luke asked "everything, today was perfect, and whenever we hang out I have a lot of fun" I told him looking over at him at the end with a small smile
He looked over at me with a small smile "I have fun you you too Rosie" he replied and my smile grew a little
We both just looked at eachother, we were kinda close and I really wanted to kiss him, the light the hit his face made him look 10x better then he already did, he's been so great all day, and I really, really like him
He moved a piece of hair out of my face and started leaning in and so did I
The kiss was short but sweet
"Trinity do you wanna be my girlfriend?" He asked and I smiled wide "finally! Of course I wanna be your girlfriend" I answered and he laughed a little
He got up from the rock and helped me off then the two of us walked back to his car
He drove us to his apartment and walked me to my car
"I'll call you later" he told me "ok" I looked up at him fondly, he leaned down and gave me another quick kiss before saying bye and going up to his apartment
I drove home happier than ever
As soon as I got into the apartment I saw Kayla laying on the couch
"He's my boyfriend!" I exclaimed excitedly and her face lit up "oh my god! Tell me everything" she sang happily
We sat on the couch for a loooong time and I told her everything that happened

The two of us were on FaceTime for hours just talking
