Today is me and Luke's six month anniversary
We've never spent an anniversary together and this is the first time we get to be together
I woke up in the morning with no text from him, I knew he was up he has practice this morning
I brushed it off telling myself he's waiting to say it in person when we see each other tonight
The day passed and his practice was supposed to end at 12 it's 3 and still no text or call
I continued waiting till it started getting close to our reservation

Now I'm just mad. he totally forgot our anniversary and the plans we made for tonight, and he's ignoring my text
"Kayla!" I called out to her "yeah" she replied from her room "wanna go out tonight?" I asked her "yeah sure, where?" She asked "well I was supposed to go with Luke but we can go to a restaurant then go out somewhere" I suggested "yeah let's go" she walked out of her room across the hall to my room
"We could go to this club, at the door if youre under 21 they put an X on youre hand so you don't get drinks but I saw a thing on TikTok where they put glue and peeled off the X" she explained "ok let's go then" I said
"Yay" she squealed and the two of us started getting ready together
It's 4 now and the reservations are at 6 so we had to start getting ready
I straightened my hair and wore this white dress with my regular makeup and silver jewelry
Kayla wore a black top with silver straps and a light green skirt with Knee high black boots
The two of us finished getting ready then went to dinner first
It was a nice restaurant obviously because it was for me and Luke
We ordered and talked and ate our food then when we were done we went to the all ages club
I put white Elmer's glue on the back of my hand before we left and the bouncer is gonna draw an X on it to say I'm under 21 and cannot drink
We got in and there was loud music and people everywhere
Kayla and I were having a great time until I got a text from the boy I've been waiting on all day
