I heard about the explosion master Kenobi is a scorching the Duchess back to the Palace apparently way going to the neighbouring moon and on another note the Jedi master has something to show me apparently the bomber who committed suicide spoke to the Duchess and there was someone she didn't understand along with the message the death watch left at the bombsite once again it's in a language they don't understand so that leaves me being there only option for working out what it means

when the two of them got back Obi-Wan immediately showed me the message from the square it's not written in the same language as the previous deathwatch attack but it's definitely from earth it's written in.... French

I do know how to speak and read French but it's a little rusty-practice since I was 10 years old but judging by the theme of what the deathwatch is doing I hazard a guess to what it say: it's written in French this time but it still quote from the Dantes Inferno

I translated it's been changed slightly but it still reads the same: Duchess satine is a traitor, a glutton, murderer.

I don't disagree with her that they are misusing the word but I think it's more metaphorical than literal: well in their eyes you are killing their identities so in a way to them you are murderer and a traitor to their very way of life that glutton is pushing it

the Duchess looks like she wants to slap me: are you agreeing with them!?

I shake my head and raise my hands defensively: what? no no no I'm just saying that's what they think I don't agree with them, the quote they used is from Dantes Inferno it's by the judge of the dead the creature that decides which ring of hell you go to when you die they've basically just replaced Dantes name with the duchesses it's the exact same except for that part

Obi-Wan: the deathwatch seem to be taking the story of Dante to heart, it hard to see any other reason for it the quoting his story as their committing their crimes

he's right it is strange that there quoting something that they probably don't even understand what is the angle of this while the quoting the monsters that he fights one on Dante himself he's the hero of the story these people see themselves as the heroes the liberators of the planet so why are they quoting the Demons unless...

I think about it for a moment and its own exact quote but it definitely does ring a bell in the lines of the videogame but only the videogame: actually it does in Dantes Inferno the videogame version Dantes has to fight his father who got sent to hell one of the lines is "you think you're a better man than your father" you see in the game or story Dante's father was well a sinner and Doubleday promised that he would never be like him but during the Crusades he did the same thing his father did, they've just changed the words around to match with the Duchess they're basically saying you think you're better than us you're doing the same thing as we are that's how the thinking and I think I figured out why they're going this
