hi!

First of all thank you for giving my book a chance.

Now this fanfic is just me pushing myself to keep publishing what I write. With that in mind and given the fact that this is a fanfic, I'll try my best to give life to the characters we all love. I love TVD and even more The originals. I've always had this huge crush on Klaus and Elijah so even tho this is a Klaus!fic you'll see some Elijah sprinkled here and there.

This fanfic is based on the show, so I'll start at season three and work my way to The originals bc I do like TVD but from time to time I find them boring, so I'll spend the least amount of time with them, or at least the least I can.

I also have to say that i'm taking some liberties so I can insert my OC into the story, so try don't read too much into the dates but know that I'll try to make it make sense. It's pretty basic with the dates but there is stuff that I try to work with that as far as I'm aware they don't work in the show or the spin-offs, so bear with me.

This fic came to be as a constant thought on my mind, I alway wanted to write a Klaus!fic, and the first glimpse of this was the song Teeth by 5SOS, this song I think pretty much sums up my OC's and Klaus relationship, and I love it, but bc it's inspired by it I do have to say they have somewhat of a toxic relationship which in no way I support but it's fun to write and it's very entertaining, so this is just for the sake of the story.

Another song that inspired their relationship was Bad thing by Jesy Nelson, I've never expected to use this song whatsoever but it fits, and writing this fic made me fall in love with this song, it's a beautiful song but a very tragic one, I guess its a warning some kind of trigger warning, and feel free to stop reading if you ever feel uncomfortable, your mental health comes first.

I was also inspired by a poem named Ti aspetto by Alda Merini,  it's a lovely poem that I recommend you to read and you'll also notice my first chapter it's heavily inspired by it.

I guess just as a small footnote, I'm doing small very short baby chapters until I can introduce my main OC to the main timeline, this is so I can have some freedom with my writing, and I am also not writing the whole literal show, I just might use some scenes here an there because I want to keep my freedom and creativity to write this fic as much as possible and not just do a transcript of the show.

In this book I mention mature themes, like blood, gore, swearing, use of alcohol, sex, violence, suicide thoughts, and character deaths, so if you feel uncomfortable about them at any point feel free to stop reading.

Again, this is a work of fanfiction and it's not real, but i'll try my best to capture the personality of every character the best I can and at the same time I'll try to have my freedoms with them.
