This book was co-written by Ghost-In_aBlaNk3t and so she has a lot of ocs in this! Her book, The Fall, explains very well how Thalia and Valera are related to Luke and Leia. There are a lot of ocs, a lot of which have smaller roles, and if you are ever confused as to what their backstory is just ask! But I'll do my best to explain them all in the context of the book. Gianna is the only oc that belongs to me, I own the concept of The Lost as a whole, but I do not own Star Wars or any of its concepts or characters.

This is not just a sequels fanfic, we completely rewrote it, with the plot of the force awakens being the only thing that really stuck. Rey doesn't exist, Finn doesn't exist. So if you're not a fan of the sequels you really don't have to worry about it, but if you are, you may still enjoy this alternate universe story.

The dark times began long before the kidnappings did, and yet, nobody saw them coming. The Galactic Empire had remnants, everyone knew that, but nobody had expected them to grow into the First Order: a tangible threat to the New Republic.
Supreme leader Snoke knew his target. Someone so fragile, so lost, and yet someone who had love in his heart. Love for a sister. Love that could be twisted into a weapon. Yes, Ben Solo was oh so vulnerable to the dark side that it was almost too easy to convince him that the New Republic was corrupt. Over a hundred children were stolen from their families, their minds wiped, sent with two sympathizers of the First Order to the primitive blue marble to live out a normal life until they could be inducted into the Order. However, the kidnappings had an opposite effect than Snoke had intended, with Leia Organa-Solo and Han Solo mobilizing a new Galactic Resistance to prevent this from continuing, to bring hope to the affected families, and to find.......
