I. Love. Asian. Food.  It is may favorite kind of food, and I don't see many Marvel one shots that included asian food's so here it is!

As Vivi Nguyen, the newest addition to the Marvel family, stepped out of her sleek sports car, she couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nervousness coursing through her veins. Her dark brown, almond-shaped eyes scanned the surroundings, taking in the bustling sidewalks and towering buildings that seemed to touch the sky. The air was thick with the aroma of street food and the chatter of people, each language a unique symphony blending into the chaotic harmony of the city.

She made her way towards the restaurant, a small, cozy Vietnamese joint tucked away in a quiet corner of the street. As she opened the door, the scent of beef broth and fresh herbs washed over her, instantly transporting her back to her childhood home in Ho Chi Minh City. Her stomach growled in anticipation as she stepped inside, the warm, inviting light from the restaurant's yellow lanterns illuminating her way.

Vivi pulled out her phone and texted the new group chat she was added to called 'Avengers'. She texted a photo of the cozy Vietnamese restaurant and typed 'meet here at 6pm, dinner is on me :)'

Before anyone could reply, she pocketed her phone and made her way to the host's stand.

"Xin chao," Vivi greeted in her native language, Vietnamese. The word rolled off her tongue effortlessly, and she couldn't help but feel a sense of pride in her heritage. As she waited for the host to acknowledge her, she surveyed the restaurant. The decor was simple yet charming, with red and gold accents adorning the walls, and tiny candles flickering on each table. The space was intimate, with only a handful of tables scattered about, and a long bar where diners could watch the chefs in action.

The host seated Vivi at a large table, long enough for her and the rest of the cast to sit. As she waited for the others to arrive, she couldn't help but feel a bit self-conscious. Being the only Asian in the group, she wondered if they would appreciate her choice of cuisine. She hoped they wouldn't find her too exotic or strange. But then again, being an Avenger meant embracing differences and learning from one another.

Slowly but surely, each member of the cast entered the restaurant and joined Vivi at the table. "Hey Vi!" Mark Ruffalo said as he surveyed the restaurant, "this place looks cool."

"I know," Vivi replied with a smile, "it's my favorite spot in the city." She gestured for them to take their seats as a waitress approached the table. "Xin chao, bạn la Van," she introduced herself in Vietnamese, "I will be your waitress."

"Xin chao Van. Tên bạn la vivi." Vivi greeted the waitress.

As the rest of the cast sat down, they exchanged curious glances and glances at the menu, which was written entirely in Vietnamese. Vivi noticed their confusion and decided to help them out. "So, let me explain how this works," she began, "we're going to order family-style, so everyone gets to try a little bit of everything. The waitress will bring out a few different dishes to share."

As Van left to grab everyone waters, the group turned their attention back to the menu, with Vivi giving them a brief rundown of some of the more popular dishes. "This is the bún bò huế, which is a spicy beef noodle soup," she explained, pointing to a photo of a steaming bowl of broth with thin slices of beef and rice vermicelli noodles. "It's made with annatto seeds for the color, and lemongrass gives it a unique flavor."

Mark Ruffalo perked up at the mention of spicy food. "I'm game for anything that'll make my nose run," he joked. Vivi laughed and pointed to another dish, the gỏi cuốn, or Vietnamese spring rolls. "These are a great starter. They're made with shrimp, pork, and vegetables wrapped in rice paper and served with a sweet and sour dipping sauce."

"But my all time favorite is cơm chiên," Vivi says as she points to a photo of a bowl of rice, "which translates to fried rice."

The group nods and Van returns ready to take the groups order. "Are you guys ready to order?"

"Were ready!" Vivi announces.

The waitress takes their orders and promises to bring out the food soon. As they wait, the group engages in conversation, asking Vivi questions about her life in New York and her experience on the movie. She tells them about how she grew up in a small town in Vietnam, dreaming of one day becoming an actress, and how she eventually moved to the city to pursue her dreams.

"Wait," Scarlett Johansson says, "so, are you fluent in Vietnamese? Because you seemed like you were in your element when you were talking to our waitress."

"Yes," Vivi replied, "my parents wanted me to know my heritage, so they made sure I grew up speaking the language. But I'm also fluent in English, of course." She smiled, feeling a surge of pride in her multicultural upbringing.

The conversation continued, and soon the table was filled with laughter as they shared stories about their own lives and experiences. As the food started to arrive, the waitress set out a feast of steaming bowls and plates, each dish more fragrant and colorful than the last. The cast members eagerly dug in, trying everything from the spicy beef noodle soup to the crispy fried spring rolls.
