chapter 16 - waking up

Isabella's pov:

I saw this bright light above me it was blinding and annoying as fuck

What happened?

I squinted my eyes open multiple time before the memories came to me and I shot up like a Bullet , he choked me .

He didn't listen when I begged

He's just like him ,I knew it

I knew we couldn't trust these men and I never should have got even a little bit comfortable, this is my fault

It's always my fucking fault.

"Your awake!" I heard laylas voice beside me and I whipped my head round to her immediately

"Your neck looks so sore" she said in worry and my hand slowly made it's way up my neck I didn't know what to say

I just wanted to cry

I couldn't breathe

He's just like him!!

They all are they all watched and let it happen

"No" Is all I could get out and Layla looked panicked at my reaction and shouted for everyone to get in there

"SHES AWAKE!" she screamed looking at me with concern

I heard many people running towards the room but all I could focus on were the bruising around my worst neck and I'm guessing my chin too

My hand making it's way around all places bruised

I for once in my life felt scared again

I grabbed a remote from beside me holding it up like it could do anything like it was a weapon

Summer was the first one to run in and then Emilio and Jacob and then Alexander and Killian

Then Adrian.

"Summer" I said short of breath having a panic attack and I knew she'd know I was having one

"Oh lord Izzy count to five at a slow pace over and over" she said and I looked at her annoyed

Adrain looked mortified at what's he'd caused.

"Not again this will not go down again" I said looking at Killian and adrain with fearful eyes

"We , we will not let it happen Again together" summer reminded me and I looked at her with a shake of my head at the edge of a breakdown

She hugged me immediately

"You scared me for a second" she said and I laughed as a tear made it's way down my face slowly

I don't let myself cry much but I think this can be a one of

"Do I look that bad?" I asked trying to brighten the mood as she let go and she laughed

"You look shit" she said and that made me chuckle but it hurt my neck to laugh so I also let out a whimper

They all then looked concerned and adrain looked so guilty

"Can we be left alone for a minute?" Adrain asked and summer instantly looked at him with a 'you can't be serious' look
